The Dance Academy (TDA) offers training for students of dance with exceptional dance training in a professional and positive environment. They believe dance should be both an educational and an inspirational experience. Each dancer is unique, and TDA aims to ensure he or she reaches their maximum potential. They offer several dance classes and programs for students of all ages. TDA's dance classes are designed to help each child develop strong core techniques and artistic talent. They offer toddler dance, ballet, jazz, tap, hip hop, lyrical, creative dance, theater dance, and tumbling. The students at The Dance Academy range from 2 ½ to young adults. Their goal is for their dancers to have fun, develop their creative expression, and of course, get much-needed exercise. TDA's instructors teach age-appropriate dance skills for each age level.

TDA has been offering professional dance training with a personal touch for over 30 years, instilling the love of dance to students under the creative direction of Miss Donnajean Kline and staffed by a group of highly-trained instructors. Shady Brook Farm Fall Fest 2021

When: September 11 – October 31, specific dates and times available on the website
Where: Shady Brook Farm, 931 Stony Hill Rd. Yardley, PA 19067

It's the best time of the year at Shady Brook Farm. Fall Fest at Shady Brook Farm includes wagon rides, a 5 acre corn maze, sunflowers, apple and pumpkin picking, live music on the weekends, bonfires and more festival activities. This year, experience the all new Eerie Illuminations light show, staring on September 24th. Visit the barn yard animals, indulge in spooky snacks, jump on the jumping pillow, crawl around on the spider web and race around the all new re-designed track on pedal go carts.

Scarecrows in the Village

When: September 6 – October 30
Where: Peddler's Village, 2400 Street Road, New Hope, PA

For the last 42 years, Scarecrows in the Village has been an autumn tradition in Bucks County. For eight weeks, one hundred scarecrows line the pathways of Peddler's Village. Some are inspired by famous characters, some are scary, but all of them are handmade by Philadelphia-area residents and organizations. Visitors are invited to vote on their favorite scarecrows and the creators of the winning scarecrows will receive prizes.

Fall Festival at Hellerick's Family Farm

When: 9:30 am – 6:30 pm daily, starting September 16th
Where: 5500 N. Easton Road, Doylestown, PA

Hellerick's Family Farm Fall Festival begins on September 16th. Last admission is at 5 pm and last hayride is at 5:30 pm. Bring your family and friends out for a fun day on the farm. General admission includes entry to the 18 acre Adventure Farm area, which includes a hayride, 2 corn mazes, farm animals, 3 slides, tractor tire playground and 40+ activities for children and adults of all ages.

Froehlich's Farm Fall Festival

When: Saturdays & Sundays, 10 am – 4 pm, 10/2 – 10-31, Select Friday Nights, 6 pm – 9 pm
Where: 3143 York Road, Furlong, PA

Froehlich's Fall Festival is the perfect fall adventure for all ages. General admission is $12 per guest and an activity pass is $22 per guest. The festival includes pick-your-own pumpkin patch, live music, bonfires + s'mores, cut out boards, hay maze, scarecrows and tractors, family photo opportunities, great food, home baked goods, local brews and more.

The Spooktacular Hot Air Balloon Festival

When: October 22, 4 – 10 pm, October 23, 6 – 10 pm, October 24, 6 – 8 pm
Where: 1000 Airport Lane, Slatington, PA

Experience the night sky filled with an array of colors that glow against the Slatington Airport. There will be family-style rides, games, an exclusive beer garden, fair foods, fireworks and more.

Snipes Farm Fall Harvest Fun

When: October 2021 – Saturdays 9 am – 6 pm, Sundays 10 am – 5 pm
Where: 890 W. Bridge Street, Morrisville, PA

Fall Harvest Fun at Snipes Farm takes place for the month of October on Saturdays and Sundays. The fun includes pumpkins, apples, cider, hay pyramids, farm animals and other fun activities for families and children. Walk the nature trail, play on the playgrounds, pick your own pumpkins and complete the wooden and straw bale maze.


Solebury Orchards

When: Thursday – Sunday, 9 am – 6 pm
Where: 3325 Creamery Road, New Hope, PA

Apple picking season has begun at Solebury Orchards in New Hope. The season runs from August 20 – November 7. There are many different varieties to choose from. During weekends in September, October and the first weekend of November, there are wagon rides through the orchards for apple picking. All pick-your-own fruit is priced by the pound for whatever you pick. The orchards are open rain or shine.

Styer Orchard

When: 9 am – 6 pm, closed on Mondays
Where: 97 Styers Lane, Langhorne, PA

Pick your own apples at Styer Orchard in Langhorne. You must purchase what you pick and it's recommended to call before you come to check for availability.

Manoff Market Gardens

When: Labor Day to October 31
Where: 97 Styers Lane, Langhorne, PA

From Labor Day to October 31, Manoff Market Gardens has up to 25 varieties of apples in the market, fresh pressed cider and 6 varieties of pears. You can also purchase gift baskets to include hard cider. The Cidery is open every Thursday afternoon and evening and Friday and Saturday afternoons. Bring some friends, sit by the fire, play games and bring a lunch or dinner to go with your cider.

Linvilla Orchards

When: September 11 – November 7
Where: Linvilla Orchards, 137 West Knowlton Road, Media, PA

In 1971, the late matriarch of the family-run Linvilla Orchards, Peg Linvill, won first place at the Philadelphia Horticulture Society's Harvest Show. The display was brought back to the farm where the family sold pumpkins for years and Pumpkinland was born. It's a beautiful fall destination for families in the Philadelphia area. It's opening this weekend, September 11th and will remain open until November 7th. Linvilla offers a variety of autumn magic activites including hayrides, pick-your-own apples, and mazes. On select dates there will be autumn moon hayrides and a full moon hayride on October 20th. Check the website for more information.

Shady Brook Farm Pick-Your-Own

Pick-Your-Own apple has begun at Shady Brook Farm. You'll find a variety of apples including Honeycrisp, Gala, Daybreak Fuji and Crimson Crisp. They're all $1.49/lb and there will be even more of a variety throughout the season.


The Count’s Halloween Spooktacular

When: September 18 through November 7
Where: Sesame Place, 100 Sesame Road, Langhorne, PA

Come in costume and celebrate silly, not-too-spooky fun at The Count’s Halloween Spooktacular at Sesame Place! The park will be transformed into a family-friendly Halloween haven and guests will enjoy trick-or-treating around the park, Halloween-themed shows, an interactive Scarecrow Scavenger Hunt, pumpkin decorating, swinging, flying, and cruising on Count von Count-themed mechanical rides, and unique photo opportunities with everyone’s favorite furry friends dressed up in costume on their Halloween-themed floats!

Sleepy Hollow Hayride/House in the Hollow

When: Opens September 25 and runs throughout the Halloween Season
Where: Sleepy Hollow, 881 Highland Rd., Newtown, PA

Venture down into THE HOLLOW through the abandoned gardens and deep into the winding crypts and catacombs deep beneath the manor. An expansive cemetery and dark woods provide bone-chilling frights at every turn.

Dare to enter the gates of THE FIELD and wander through the ruins of a bewitched village haunted by ghosts of the outlaws and outcasts that lived there in the 1800’s. Continue through the deserted section of the farm no longer in use after the tragic events of the past. This year, they are selling a limited number of tickets for each half hour to maintain safe capacity and eliminate long wait times.

Haunted Trails 

When: October 16th, 6:00 – 8:00 pm
Where: Bucks County Audubon Society Visitor Center, 2877 Creamery Road, New Hope, PA

Visit the haunted, jack-o-lantern lit trails at Bucks Audubon. This is a fun and family-friendly event, perfect for kids ages 4-14, but definitely can be enjoyed by all. Groups go out onto the trails roughly every 30 minutes. While you wait for the next group, enjoy storytelling around the campfire, Halloween crafts, face-painting, seasonal refreshments and more at the Education Center. Register here.
