Tree Lightings and Parades

Quakertown Christmas Tree Lighting Festival

When: December 3rd, 6 pm – 8 pm
Where: Downtown Quakertown

Quakertown Alive! is planning the annual Christmas Tree Lighting Festival for Friday, December 3rd from 6 pm – 8 pm in downtown Quakertown.

Newtown Borough Tree Lighting

When: December 3rd, 6 pm – 8 pm
Where: Downtown Quakertown

The Newtown Fire Company will be lighting their tree and Santa will be making an appearance too! The tree lighting begins at 7 pm and Santa arrives at 7:30 pm.

Perkasie's 112th Christmas Tree Lighting

When: December 4th, 5 pm – 8 pm
Where: Perkasie Borough

The nation's oldest community tree lighting ceremony is celebrating its 112th year. Families can expect a traditional evening out with holiday music, food and fun. The event opens at 5 pm with Peraksie Mayor, John Hollenbach and his annual reading of “T'was the Night Before Christmas.” Carols and holiday music from local school choirs will be followed by rocking holiday music from Mike Greer & Co. Horse and carriage rides, wandering carolers, costumed characters, themed performances and food trucks will round out the night along with shopping and dining specials from Perkasie's local small businesses.

Langhorne Manor Tree Lighting

When: December 5th, 6 pm
Where: Langhorne Manor Borough Hall, 618 Hulmeville Avenue

Tree lighting, music and Santa! Bring a dozen of your favorite cookies to share. Beverages will be provided. Please bring an unwrapped toy for the Bucks County Housing Group. Lighting up the Manor takes place on Christmas Eve.

Yardley Olde Fashion Christmas Parade and Tree Lighting

When: December 4th, 3:30 pm
Where: Yardley Borough

The parade travels South Main Street and West Afton Avenue, starting at the American legion and ending at Buttonwood park. At the end of the parade, Santa will light the tree and have a meet-and-greet for the kids.

Newtown Holiday Parade

When: Sunday, December 5th, 2 – 4  pm
Where: 301 S. State Street, Newtown, PA

Come out and find a comfy spot to watch this amazing holiday event. The parade promptly kicks off at 2PM from South State Street at the Stocking Works. It then continues north to Washington Avenue and makes a left turn, then turns right onto Sycamore Street. The Parade eventually ends at the corner of Sycamore Street and Durham Road.

Fallsington Tree Lighting

When: Saturday, December 4th, 5 pm – 8 pm
Where: Falls Township Senior Center, 282 Trenton Road, Fairless Hills, PA

Light refreshments and entertainment will be provided. This is a FREE event and you are asked to register online before coming.

Bensalem Santa's Drive Through Visit

When: Saturday, December 11th, 5 pm
Where: Bensalem Township Municipal Building, 2400 Byberry Road, Bensalem, PA

In restructuring the annual Township tree lighting, everyone is invited to bring children and come to the township building on December 11th at 5 pm. Let Santa get a sneak preview of all the boys and girls whose homes he will be visiting on Christmas Eve. Bring canned goods for those less fortunate and give Santa a wave. Remember, all those attending will remain in the car and drive through to ensure Santa and his visitors remain safe.

Winterfest in Sellersville

When: Tuesday, December 7, 6:30 pm
Where: 2 N. Main Street, Sellersville, PA

Winterfest is one of the favorite free community events in Sellersville. The theater will be serving the famous Washington House chocolate chip cookies, hot chocolate and hot cider. They will also be showing classic holiday cartoons and there will be live music.

An American Christmas Songbook at Bristol Riverside Theatre

Where: 120 Radcliffe Street, Bristol, PA

The chill of winter is in the air as Keith Baker and the BRT Concert Band, along with other talented entertainers take the stage to perform popular carols and holiday songs. Celebrate the holidays in style at the Bristol Riverside Theatre!

Elf Jr. The Musical

When: December 3 @ 7:00 pm and December 4 @ 11 am
Where: Acting Naturally Theatre, 164 N. Flowers Mill Road, Langhorne, PA

The story of Buddy, a young orphan, mistakenly crawls into Santa's bag of gifts and is transported to the North Pole. The would-be elf is raised, unaware that he is actually human. With Santa's permission, he embarks on a journey to NYC to find his birth father and discover his true identity.

The historic Newtown Theatre is opening up on December 1st after a couple of months of renovation. Check out the updated theatre and catch a holiday show or movie this season.

Town and Country Players Presents Holiday Show

When: December 10 & 11, 8 pm and December 11 & 12, 2:00 pm
Where: 4158 York Road, Buckingham, PA

This is a family-friendly show, featuring performers of all ages. Two hosts-with-the-mosts are putting together the final touches on the Town and Country Players holiday party when a blizzard sweeps into town. While guests find their way through the snow and cold, however shall Santa find his way to Town and Country Players? The only solution is to put together a holly jolly variety show that will raise so much holiday cheer, it will be a beacon for Santa in the storm. Purchase tickets here.
