Spooky season is upon us. Over the next couple of weeks, Bucks County is celebrating the Halloween season with haunted houses, ghost tours, fall festivals, and events for the whole family to enjoy. Our comprehensive guide is here to help you make your plans to have the best Halloween season yet!

Ghost Tours of New Hope

When: Saturdays at 8 pm
Where: New Hope, PA

Don't disappoint our ghosts by missing out on their stories! Head out on ghost tours of New Hope on Saturday nights at 8:00. Meet at the corner of Main and Ferry by the Benjamin Parry mansion.

Valley of Fear

When: September 22 – October 30 (select dates)
Where: 301 W. Bristol Road, Feasterville, PA

The 33rd year of Valley of Fear will be the biggest production ever. Ride through America's most horrifying woods, including a graveyard, with gigantic sets and a twisting, disorienting trail. Buy your tickets online.

Sleepy Hollow Hayride/House in the Hollow

When: September 29 – October 29, 6:30 pm – 9:30 pm
Where: Sleepy Hollow, 881 Highland Rd., Newtown, PA

Venture down into THE HOLLOW through the abandoned gardens and deep into the winding crypts and catacombs deep beneath the manor. An expansive cemetery and dark woods provide bone-chilling frights at every turn. Dare to enter the gates of THE FIELD and wander through the ruins of a bewitched village haunted by ghosts of the outlaws and outcasts that lived there in the 1800’s. Continue through the deserted section of the farm no longer in use after the tragic events of the past. The attraction is open for fourteen nights this season.

Haunted Civil War Tour and Victorian Wake

When: October 21 and 28, 6:30 pm
Where: Meet at North Main and Court Streets, Doylestown, PA

The Bucks County Civil War Museum and the James-Lorah Memorial Home welcome you to a spooky evening tour of the Civil War Era! The tour includes two historic locations. At the Bucks County Civil War Museum, 32 N. Broad Street, the ghosts of Doylestown's war heroes rise from the grave to recount their experiences of life and death at war. At the James-Lorah Home, 132 N. Main Street, an authentic Victorian Wake honors one of the fallen Union soldiers. As an added spooky treat, you will learn some bizarre 19th century death customs and superstitions. There will be fun for all ages.

Newtown Athletic Club Teen Party

Witches, ghosts, and ghouls – Head over to Pulse Studio and get ready for some spooky fun at the NAC Teen Halloween Party! This special event is open to the community. It's for ages 12-15 and it's from 7-10 pm. There will be a DJ & Dance Party, Food Buffet, Photo Booth, Haunted House, Costume prizes, and more! Get into a spooktacular spirit by dressing up in a fun Halloween costume. Party tickets must be purchased in advance.

Kids Night Out Spooktacular | Dynamix Gymnastics

When: October 21, 6-9 pm
Where: Dynamix Gymnastics, 181 Wheeler Court, Suite C, Langhorne, PA

Give your kids an evening of fun, while you take the evening off. KIDS NIGHT OUT is a three hour action packed event, designed to keep your children flipping all night long in a fun and safe environment. Children will be separated by age while they enjoy a number of activities such as, gymnastics, games, obstacle courses, craft and so much more! Snack, pizza, and beverages are provided. Pre-registration is required. 

The Count's Halloween Spooktacular

When: September 16 – November 5th
Where: Sesame Place, 100 Sesame Road, Langhorne, PA

Come in costume and celebrate silly, not-too-spooky fun at The Count’s Halloween Spooktacular at Sesame Place! The park will be transformed into a family-friendly Halloween haven and guests will enjoy trick-or-treating around the park, Halloween-themed shows and parades, participating in an interactive Scarecrow Scavenger Hunt, and unique photo opportunities with everyone's favorite furry friends dressed up in costume.

Frankenstein Rocks | Zlock Performing Arts Center

When: October 13th
Where: 275 Swamp Road, Newtown, PA

Frankenstein Rocks” is an original, comedic interpretation of the beloved Halloween classic about a man who defies nature to create life with his own hands. With incredible costumes, amazing sets, and high-energy music, Frankenstein Rocks is an unforgettable night of fun and laughter that will leave you begging for more. So grab your jumper cables, a shovel, and any “body” you can because IT'S ALIVE!!

Snipes Farm Halloween Drive-In Experience

When: October Dates
Where: 890 W. Bridge Street, Morrisville, PA

Halloween reimagined by a first of its kind, immersive experience brought to you by Mid Atlantic Event Group. It’s more than just a drive-in! Enter through a creepy stretch of road as you brace yourself for the ultimate haunted experience. As the sun sets, watch your favorite horror movie on a 50 foot screen (and your back) while terrifying characters surround you and bring the story to life! This will be the Halloween event that everyone in Bucks County is talking about, so don’t miss out! Tickets are extremely LIMITED and WILL SELL-OUT nightly.

Slightly Batty Halloween Wing-Ding

When: October 28th, 11 am – 3 pm
Where: Peddler's Village, Route 263 & Street Road, Lahaska, PA

Dress in your spookiest or most original Halloween costume and come out to Peddler's Village. Explore the haunted grounds, let loose at a spooky dance party and take part in games, photo ops, and a Halloween craft. Prizes will be awarded for all kids participating in the Halloween costume contest. Get a thrill out of pizza, refreshments, and delicious desserts. This Halloween Wing-Ding promises to bring the fun to you and your family. All ages are welcome, children ages 3 and up must be ticketed – no walk-ins.

Valley Square Halloween Outdoor Family Movie Night

When: Friday, October 27th, 7 pm
Where: 1405 N. Main Street, Warrington, PA

Get ready for an awesome outdoor movie night featuring Trick or Treat Scooby Doo. Not only will you see a fun family movie, but you will be treated to free hot dogs, popcorn, snow cones, cotton candy and nachos. Don't forget to bring your own chairs and blankets for ultimate comfort.

Fall Fest Trunk-or-Treat

When: Saturday, October 14th, 2-6 pm
Where: The Univest Performance Center, 301 W. Mill Street, Quakertown, PA

Enjoy a night filled with spooky games and tasty treats. This fun festival will feature various crafts and activities. Come out and get ready for Halloween! There will be hayrides, moon bounces, games, activities, petting zoo, sensory tent, costume contests, and many more of your favorites.

Sensory Friendly Halloween Haunt

When: Sunday, October 29th and Tuesday, October 31st, 5-6 pm
Where: 507 Girard Ave, Croydon, PA

This year, participate in a cozy family haunt, where a cast of 25 spooky characters, coffins, and narrow passages create a safe and immersive Halloween experience. There will be no strobe lights, fog, or overwhelming sound effects at this neighborhood attraction located at 507 Girard Ave in the Croydon section of Bristol Township. This event provides a special Halloween adventure, welcoming to all. Feel free to dress up. The walk-through takes 15 minutes to complete.

Mommy & Me Halloween Themed Paint Party

When: Saturdays, October 21 & 28, 4-6 pm
Where: Art in the Barn, 91 Rogers Rd, Furlong, PA

Bond with your child (ages 7+) over a fun, Halloween-themed double painting! Work together to create a painting on two separate canvases designed to hang on your wall together! Murder Mystery Dinner | River House at Odette's

Save the date for a glamorous evening of mystery, intrigue and murder mystery. Fireside Ghost Stories

River House at Odette’s is hosting Fireside Ghost Stories at Odette’s Overlook, the hotel’s signature alfresco dining outlet. These interactive evenings will feature an informal talk and Q&A with historian and Ghost Tour guide, Carolyn Randolph. Specializing in Bucks County history, Randolph will present tales of the city and the surrounding towns to shine a new light on its fascinating past and the bold names whose presence still roam the area to this day.

Ghostly Graveyard Gala

Adult Trick or Treat | Chaddsford's Bottle Shop

Enjoy fearful delights  at Chaddsford's Bottle Shop in Peddler's Village. Come dressed in your best Halloween costume for the chance to win a gift card. The staff will guide you through a pre-selected tasting of five widely diverse wines from across their portfolio alongside (tricks and) tasty treats. During this intimate and engaging experience, you will learn tips for tasting and pairing while experimenting with different, frightfully-fantastic flavor combinations. Noches de Luna Latin Dance Party

4010 New Falls Road, Bristol, PA
October 27th, 9 pm – 2 am

Celebrate Halloween at the Noches de Luna Latin Dance Party at La Luna Dance Studio. Doors open at 9 pm, the buffet and Salsa lesson begins at 9:15 pm and dancing begins at 10 pm. At 12:30 am, there will performances by AIM Dancers and a Halloween costume parade. The cover is $20 to attend.

Doylestown Spooktacular Parade & Costume Contest

Downtown Doylestown
Saturday, October 28th, 9:30 am

Participate in a costume contest and trick or treating throughout downtown Doylestown. Advanced registration is strongly suggested. Meet at the lawn of the Bucks County Administration Building (55 E. Court Street) and you will parade down Pine Street onto E. State Street. After the costume contest finishes, trick-or-treating will happen throughout town. Look for stores and restaurants with orange and black balloons hanging outside. There will be a printed list of participating locations at check-in.

Newtown Halloween Parade

Newtown Borough

The Newtown Parade leaves from Stocking Works and concludes at Brian Gregg Park. There will be a Halloween costume competition!

Dublin Town Center Halloween Parade
