Festival of Trees

Each year during the Annual Festival of Trees, the rooms of Pearl S. Buck’s iconic Bucks County stone farmhouse come alive with the glow of holiday decorations. The event showcases beautiful trees and vignettes designed by Bucks County’s best artists, decorators, and local community groups to convey the spirit of Pearl S. Buck’s legacy as an author, humanitarian, and activist. Visitors have the opportunity to vote for their favorite display. Festival of Trees remains one of the most unique and historic holiday traditions in the region.

Christmas Wonderland Weekend

December 7 & 8, 10 am – 4:30 pm
Bountiful Acres, 5074 York Rd, Holicong, PA

Come to the first annual Christmas Wonderland Weekend. It's the perfect time to select your fresh-cut Christmas tree, and ring in the holiday season. Peaceable Kingdom Petting Zoo will be there with “The Bucks County Camel” from 10 am – 2 pm on Saturday and 11 am – 3 pm on Sunday. New-Pen-Del Newfoundland Club will also be there on Saturday with their fleet of working dogs doing a Christmas tree pull. There will be pedal cars, wonderland maze, snowball launcher and food trucks.

McCaffrey's Newtown Holiday Parade

December 8th, 2-4 pm

This parade is a huge event that continues to provide a magical experience for the whole community. Hosted each year by the Newtown Business Association, it is a great opportunity for local businesses to get involved and for families to line the streets to watch a spectacular event. The parade kicks off from South State Street and continues to Washington Ave and makes a left turn, and then right onto Sycamore, ending at the corner of Sycamore Street and Durham Road. Parade announcers will be located at Goodnoe Corner next to Green Parrot.

Santa's Grand Illumination

Playwicki Farm's Holiday Celebration

Ho-Ho-Ho! Jingle your way to Playwicki Farm on 12/14 from 12-4pm to see Santa arrive via fire truck! Then visit with him in the beautifully decorated farm house and take free photos with your camera. There will be food trucks, craft vendors, moonbounces, pony rides, glitter tattoos, a DJ, snow zone, face painting, balloon art and more.

Charlann Farms Holiday Kick Off Party

Charlann Farms kicks off the holiday season with a fun, family-friendly event. There will be live music by Rainy Daze Band, Rooster & The Chick Food Truck and Broad Street Brewing will be on site. Cops N Kids will be handing out free books. Bring a new, unwrapped toy for the toy drive. Santa arrives on a tractor at 12 pm and will be available for photos. There will also be a jump pad, children's activities, yard games, pony rides, face painting and more.

New Hope Railroad

The New Hope Railroad offers holiday excursions, including Santa's Steam Train Ride and Santa's North Pole Express Train. Come and celebrate the return of the iconic #40 steam engine as you join Santa and Mrs. Claus on a magical adventure aboard the Steam Train, traversing the historic countryside of Bucks County. This enchanting Santa’s Steam Train Ride departs from New Hope Station and takes you on a round trip to the “North Pole.” Similarly, yet different, Santa's North Pole Express Train is unique in that it is drawn by the vintage diesel locomotives.

TREE LIGHTINGS

America's Oldest Tree Lighting

America's Oldest Tree Lighting has been fun for the whole family since it first took place in 1909! Hot cocoa, storytelling, entertainers, live music, more hot cocoa, food trucks, candy canes, photo ops, costumed characters and a whole lot to see and enjoy in the center of town. Santa lights the tree at 7pm and is available for photos afterwards

Dublin Town Center Holiday Gathering & Tree Lighting

The Dublin Town Center presents the 2024 Dublin Holiday Gathering and Tree Lighting. Santa will be present throughout the evening. There will be horse and carriage rides taking you around Dublin Town Center, a gingerbread display competition, Tree Lighting Ceremony at 5:30 pm, a live nativity scene, live carolers, holiday vendors, food, kids activities and more.

Newtown Tree Lighting

Santa arrives in a firetruck and BC Discoveries and Goodnoe Elementary Choir will be performing. The tree lighting happens at approximately 7 pm.

Sellersville Winterfest + Tree Lighting

December 14th, 5 pm
Sellersville, PA

Come out along Main Street for music at various locations, Santa’s arrival for photo opportunities, activities at the Sellersville Fire House, s’mores around the firepit, crafts and games throughout town, horse and carriage rides up and down Main Street, a holiday passport to be eligible for prizes upon completion, special menus and sales at local eateries and shops, plus so much more. To end the celebration, there will be a tree lighting and fireworks.

Annual Tree Lighting | Shops at Valley Square

Come out to The Shops at Valley Square for the Annual Tree Lighting festival and the arrival of Santa and Mrs. Claus! There will be face painting, glitter tattoos provided by Once Upon a Dream Princess Parties, bounce houses provided by Jumping Jubilee, complimentary hot chocolate from Panera, music from Tony Dee Entertainment and a session with Go with YoYo! There will also be food trucks with food available for purchase! Remember to bring your cameras/phones to take your own pictures with Santa and Mrs Claus and some of Santa's Elves!

Hulmeville Tree Lighting

The Annual Hulmeville tree lighting and Holiday Party takes place 11/29! Open to Hulmeville Residents and their friends and family. The tree will light up at the corner of Neshaminy Street and Bellevue Avenue and then head to the William Penn Firehouse for hot beverages, sweet treats, caroling and a visit from a special man in a red suit!

Fallsington Tree Lighting

Begin the busy holiday season with Historic Fallsington during the annual community Christmas Tree Lighting! All will gather around the tree setup on Meetinghouse Square, sing a few Christmas carols lead by the Fallsington Singers, & light the tree for the season. Then enjoy some homemade snacks & warm drinks at All Saints Episcopal Church after visiting with Santa at the Burges-Lippincott House.

Yardley Olde Christmas Parade & Tree Lighting
