For those who would rather enjoy New Hope’s chilling accounts from the comfort and luxury of the hotel, River House at Odette’s is hosting Fireside Ghost Stories at Odette’s Overlook, the hotel’s signature alfresco dining outlet. Taking place on Wednesday, October 8 and Wednesday, October 22 from 7:30–8:30 pm, these interactive evenings will feature an informal talk and Q&A with historian and Ghost Tour guide, Carolyn Randolph. Specializing in Bucks County history, Randolph will present tales of the city and the surrounding towns to shine a new light on its fascinating past and the bold names whose presence still roam the area to this day.

Ghost Tours of New Hope

Tours run every Saturday night at 8 pm. through November and meet at the corner of Main and Ferry St., by the Benjamin Parry Mansion. Reservations are not required, but it's recommended to be prompt – the tour will depart at 8 pm. Tickets are $12/person. As you take a lantern-lit walk along the shadowy streets and darkened alleyways of this rich, eclectic, historic town, you will learn about the ghostly haunts and history behind them.

Halloween Workshops | Art in the Barn

Halloween Candle Workshop: (October 18, 7-9 pm) – In this workshop, LaMarco Candle Co. will teach you how to create a custom hand-poured candle. The experience includes 1.5 hours of candle-making, choose from a variety of fragrance options to add to your candle, custom label options, glitter, gemstones and stickers to add to your candle and a signature 7.5 oz. candle vessel.

Halloween Cookie Decorating: (October 28, 6:30-8:30 pm) – Join Keystone cookie company in the barn for a deep dive into the art of sugar cookie decorating! The sugar cookie decorating classes are perfect for beginners interested in learning a new hobby or friends getting together for fun. In each class you will gain knowledge of royal icing consistencies, piping techniques, baking tips and recipes. You’ll leave with 6 of your own decorated Halloween cookie creations! BYOB

Slightly Batty Halloween Wing Ding | Peddler's Village

Haunted Hustle 5K

The Newtown Haunted Hustle 5K is a scenic run (or walk) through historic Newtown Borough. Race begins and ends at 30 N. Chancellor Street (Chancellor Building parking lot).
