The Middletown Grange Fair is about to be all the talk in Wrightstown. This fair week, held August 15 to August 19 is the biggest show in town. It all goes down at the Middletown Grange Fairgrounds at 576 Penns Park Road in Wrightstown.
This will be the 70th year of the fair. Each day from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. the grounds are lit up with fair rides, games, and food. This fair has the good ole’fashioned feel of counties fairs of years past. There are midway rides, a Ferris wheel, and carousel. But there is also the other side to the fair with the agricultural elements, like animal showings, quilts and other various arts on display.
One of the week’s biggest draws is the Chicken Dinners planned from 3 to 9 p.m. on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. This night is so popular it typically draws in thousands of hungry diners.
There will be daily entertainment of music, magic shows, and even piglet races. The cost to park per car is $10 for one day or $30 for the week. Admittance is free with an additional fee for rides.
