Bucks County's premier chamber chorus, Cantus Novus, continues its 2012-13 season under the artistic direction of John P. Leonard, with a celebration of music from around the world, All the World Sings Nowell; a joyous and diverse program spanning centuries and geography.
Among the multi-lingual treats are Mykola Leontovich’s Carol of the Bells sung in its native Ukrainian, Arvo Pärt’s Bogoroditse Djevo (Mother of God and Virgin) in Church Slavonic, and French and Spanish folk carols arranged by Dean Rishel. Other works, including Introit for a Feast Day by Gerre Hancock feature organ and The Nassau Brass.
