Billboard recognized artist and Newtown native Jared Costa is releasing his sophomore album “This Dizzying Pace and the Aftermath”, and locals are invited to the CD Release Show on Sunday, January 7th at Puck in Doylestown.

Costa started playing harmonica at the age of 10 and has gone on to create a unique blend of folk-inspired music, his sound being compared to Bruce Springsteen, Neil Young and Bob Dylan. He sets harmonica melodies up against acoustic guitar harmonies, creating a beautiful accompaniment for his deep, soulful voice.

Origivation Magazine gave Costa's album its highest accolade, an “Onwards and Upwards” and “Iconic” rating. After a near 35 city tour in 2010, Skope Magazine named him as one of their “Artists to Watch”.
