Are you ready for “Musclepalooza”? This debut event will take place at the Barn on 5441 Ash Road in Doylestown on Saturday, September 20th at 7pm.

The Musclepalooza is not only a great night of music, but the proceeds will benefit the Center for Muscular Research at Kennedy Krieger Institute. The idea was born after creator and Krieger patient, Alan Brown who suffers from FSH Distrophy, discovered a major cut in funding due to cutbacks at the Muscular Dystrophy Association and the National Institute of Health.

The event will feature great live music from opener Jesse Pearce accompanied by Barry Heimowitz and Michael Lynch, followed by local musicians Lisa Beth Weber and John Beacher. Plus, there will be food and beverages served, including from the official beer sponsor is Victory Brewing Company from Downingtown. Auction items wills includes artwork from  renowned Bucks County artists Al Lachman and Robert Beck.

KriegerThe Kennedy Krieger Institute is an internationally recognized institution dedicated to improving the lives of individuals with disorders of the brain, spinal cord, and musculoskeletal system. Brown thought a night of music, food, and drinks would be a great way to raise money for the cause. He hopes to raise $100,000 at the event.

Tickets are $25 per person payable to the Kennedy Krieger Institute at the door. For more information contact Alan Brown at 215-794-4191 or go to the Facebook page.
