The idea of the Buffalo wing started years ago at the famed Anchor Bar in Buffalo New York. Late at night, after the bars had closed, the owners daughter's friends would come into the anchor bar dying for some delicious late-night food. One night her mother decided to fry the odds and ends of the chicken left over in the kitchen together with a delicious sauce and thus the buffalo wing was born. Today, buffalo wings are almost as synonymous with football as beer.
