Back again for it's 67th year, the Middletown Grange Fair is a family favorite! Summer Wine Tasting
Cairnwood Estate 1005 Cathedral Road Huntingdon Valley

Enjoy a romantic end-of-the summer evening including a wine tasting showcasing wines from around the world, chance to explore the Beaux Arts-style mansion and relax in the lush fountain garden. Visitors are invited to experience the grandeur of the “Gilded Age” from 8 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. Co-hosting the event is Frank’s Union Wine Mart of Wilmington, Delaware, which will provide international wines. Imported and domestic cheeses will be among the fare offered by Jamie Hollander Gourmet Catering. Admission to the Summer Wine Tasting: $40 or $70/couple

Middletown Grange Fair

The fair, which started in 1948 as a corn growing competition for farmers, is a very popular, family-friendly event that celebrates Bucks County’s rich history in agriculture. The entertainment schedule lists all activities planned for the weekend. Everyday the fun starts at 10am with something new happening almost every half hour. Some of the schedule includes hot dog pig races, tractor parades, horse hayrides, tractor pulls and even a chocolate cake baking contest! The things to see and do are endless at the Grange Fair.

History and Hops
Doylestown
10:30am – 4:00pm

Please join in on “History and Hops” for exclusive tours at two of Doylestown’s National Historic Landmark museums and its newest brewery. The day will start with a tour at the Mercer Museum which houses over 40,000 tools and artifacts from the 18th and 19th centuries from literally floor to ceiling. It was the brainchild of Henry Chapman Mercer, archaeologist and anthropologist. Next stop is the new Doylestown Brewing Company! You will be treated to a delicious lunch, a private tour and brew samples! We will finish the day with a private guided tour of Fonthill, Henry Chapman Mercer’s home.

Broadway Serenade

We’ll end the summer on a high note with a night featuring hits from the golden years of Broadway. You’ll hear songs from Hello, Dolly!, Pippin, Wicked, On The Town, Bye Bye Birdie, and others.

The Pint-Size Pirate

Peggy wants to be real pirate, but the other pirates won't let her because she's too small! But while Peggy may be small, she is brave and fearless and sets off to boldly go where no pirate has gone before – to the lair of the evil sea monster… $10 Tickets may be purchased at www.StaroftheDay.org.

But is this apparently self-made man secure enough to face his humble beginnings? Margie is about to risk what little she has left to find out.
