Bucks County’s lush landscape boasts over 900 farms responsible for farmer’s markets brimming with fresh fruits and vegetables, wine tasting rooms and craft brew pubs. But did you know that several area farms specialize in growing only cut flowers? As part of the agricultural environment, teeming with blooms in a rich array of color and fragrance, these farms are part of the landscape that makes Bucks County a beautiful place to live, work and enjoy some of the simpler things in life.
Here we feature four farms that raise flowers using responsible farming practices, refraining from the use of chemical pesticides. They offer their flowers to the public and wholesale to florists for use in weddings and special events. Their unique blooms will create stunning statements for your next event or brighten up your home on a dreary day.

Laughing Lady Flower Farm – Doylestown

The Laughing Lady Flower Farm has been growing specialty cut flowers in Bucks County for nearly 20 years. They work directly with brides as well as with florists on the wholesale level. Brides can utilize their full design services or purchase bulk flowers and foliage for a do-it-yourself wedding. The Farm Studio on the property is also available for hourly rental for the DIY bride. Owner Kate Sparks will set up the studio with everything you need to make your own bouquets and table arrangements. No need to worry about clippers, wire, tape, floral pins, flower food, etc. (BYO containers!) Kate will also answer your questions and will pack and store your arrangements for up to three days in a cool environment until the big day.
The Farm also specializes in unusual and hard-to-find varieties of flowers and they are happy to custom grow any flowers that florists might have difficulty sourcing locally.
