A big congratulations to Bucks County's own Christopher Gattelli, a 1991 graduate of Bristol High School, on his 2012 Tony award win for Best Choreography for Newsies! Christopher is from Bristol, PA and is also an alumna of the Bristol Riverside Theatre, where he choreographed Altar Boyz in 2009. In 2008, he was also nominated for a Tony for his work on the revival of South Pacific.
Christopher's work as choreographer on Broadway includes Martin Short: Fame Becomes Me (2006), High Fidelity (2006), The Ritz (2007), Sunday in the Park with George (Revival, 2008), South Pacific (2008), 13 (2008), and, of course, Newsies (2012). Gatelli's accomplished career also includes a position as the resident choreographer for The Rosie O'Donnell Show.
