Optimal Sport, Newtown, PA
The more I learn about Optimal Sport Health Club in Newtown, the more I am WOWED. A couple weeks back, we told you about how the gym is selling t-shirts & planning events to raise money in the fight against cancer. The club's marketing manager, Debbi Ewing, explained that the disease is close to the staff's hearts because several employees & members utilize the gym's specialized trainers as they fight to get back in shape throughout cancer recovery.
Last week, I got the chance to visit Optimal Sport's Newtown location to check out their facilities and was floored by what I saw. I couldn't believe that this expansive, state-of-the-art gym was sitting right next to the Newtown Farmer's Market for all this time. Check out the video below to see more.
When I first arrived at the club, I watched members trickle in for their morning workouts, and I noticed that the staff knew everyone coming in, greeting them like old friends. It was then that I knew they had something special at OSHC. As you'll see in the video, they have EVERYTHING you could want- media enabled cardio equipment, tons of weight training equipment, three studios with a variety of classes, and boxing & cycling rooms. I even saw a sign up for a new belly dancing work-out class! To compliment the exercise options, the gym offers day care, an in-house chiropractor & masseuse, a sauna, & a make-up/clothing boutique. They are even one of the select gyms to have the ability to calculate a body age (in contrast to a biological age) based on health & fitness levels. How cool is that?
If you haven't gotten a chance to check out Optimal Sport Health Club, I urge you to check out the video below & stop in yourself. One thing that I thought was very cool is that you can attend their classes without joining if you'd prefer to pay as you go. Whatever your fitness needs are, Optimal Sport has a customized plan waiting just for you.
