For a spooky Halloween Eve event, come to the Newtown Theatre! Mintel and his paranormal TV crew will screen videos from their most recent cases that include Bucks County hot spots and beyond. Such cases include paranormal activity captured on video of UFOs over Doylestown, spooky spirits at the Plumsteadville Inn, an encounter with Bigfoot in the New Jersey Pine Barrens, and more. Mintel is also known as a jazz musician and leader of the Eric Mintel Quartet. When not playing, he is investigating paranormal activity locally, regionally, and nationally.

Watch the story of Count Dracula as he travels to London and takes up residence in an old castle after hypnotizing a British soldier. New Exhibitions at Pentimenti Gallery: Michelle Benoit's “ReWeave” & Mark Khaisman's “The Crowds”

This winter, Pentimenti Gallery is presenting new solo exhibitions by Michelle Benoit and Mark Khaisman! In ReWeave, Benoit is introducing her sculptures to the public for the first time. These glass-like objects are created with lucite, like her paintings. The fragments are then cut, painted, and fused together to unveil a new composition of color that glows from the inside out. In The Crowds, Kaisman manipulates tape to interpret mid-20th century crowds, layering pieces to construct well-known scenes of crowds down to their basic volumes and shapes. His use of this medium creates a crowd determined to celebrate or contribute to social or political change in the U.S. Be sure to come to check out their work, starting this week! The meet the artist reception takes place this Saturday, October 29 from 3:30 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Join the Chesnut Hill Conservancy and The Night Kitchen Bakery for this fundraiser at 6 p.m. to help raise money for the Hiram Lodge #81 and Chef Angela Jarmon of The Night Kitchen Bakery (NKB). Chef Angela has worked at the NKB for three years and contracted COVID with lingering pressure behind her left eye. She came to find out that she was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis, and has since had to take some time away from her position. Another tragic blow to note was the historic Hiram Lodge suffering damage from a dire due to faulty electrical wiring. The Chesnut Hill community is looking to restabilize this 1889 building and come together for a great cause at this event.

Morgan's Pier Adults Only Halloween Party

Morgan’s Pier ends their biggest season yet with their annual Halloween Bash this weekend. Hosted by Brittany Lynn, the Don of the Philly Drag Mafia, guests are encouraged to help suck the bar dry as the place prepares to go into hibernation until the spring.
