Living in Bucks County you are lucky enough to have access to two world class cities. Smartly situated between New York City and Philadelphia Bucks County foodies get the best chefs in our backyard, but also the chance to be dining in fabulous restaurants in a city atmosphere after a quick drive or train ride. The city of Philadelphia is home to a profound culinary scene of remarkable women who provide our community with delicious food and drink through original recipes and unique talents. From the bar and kitchen to the pages of best-selling cookbooks, these women are redefining the way we experience our food and drink. The Cookbook and Convos events, in partnership with Sisterly Love, are happening right now in restaurants around Philadelphia. This month is your opportunity to celebrate, interact with and learn from Philadelphia's top chefs and authors.
Cookbooks & Convos, brought to you by Sisterly Love Collective is designed to celebrate the talented female authors and chefs of Philadelphia. This event was inspired by “The Book and The Cook” food festival that ran from 1984 to 2007 and has carried on the tradition in it's own special way. The event runs from September 22nd to October 25th, featuring special dinners, culinary events and author meet-and-greets.
An Exciting Culinary Experience
Ellen Yin, Jennifer Carrol, Sofia Deleon and Jill Weber, recognized the charm of ‘The Book and The Cook” and brought back the festival in a new format. This celebration of culinary excellence invites you to connect, learn and be inspired by the women's contributions to the culinary world. Tickets and reservations range from $65 to $125 and includes cookbooks.
