Although July is coming to a close, there's no shortage of summer fun happening throughout Bucks County this weekend. Check out Art in the Barn's classes on both Saturday and Sunday. On Sunday, head to State Street in Newtown for the Antique and Classic Car Show with 150 cars from the past 100 years. You can find a full list of weekend happenings below.

Art in the Barn Classes

Saturday, July 27 & Sunday, July 28

Art in the Barn has classes on both Saturday and Sunday. Saturday evening from 7-9 pm, there will be a Paint & Sip: Sailboats. Join certified art educator, Cynthia Scott, as she guides you through the painting experience. Learn how to paint with acrylics on canvas and create a beautiful sailboat landscape! All materials and instruction included. Frames available for purchase. BYOB! On Sunday from 4-6:30 pm there is a Mommy & Me Pottery Partners Class.

This new Mommy and Me 1 session pottery workshop is perfect for beginners interested in learning more about using clay! Learn together how to throw on 2 separate wheels and how to create various shapes using hand-building such as a coil vase or bowl. Class size is limited to 6 partners 1 adult and 1 child. Session includes all materials (2+ finished pieces each), kiln firing, and glazing, and all instruction. Class led by Cynthia and the creative assistants.

Newtown Antique & Classic Car Show

Newtown, PA

Head to State St in Newtown for the annual Antique and Classic Car Show put on by the Newtown Business Association! See 150 classic and antique cars from the past 100+ years right on State Street.

An Evening with Classic Stones

This 8 piece International Touring Tribute to The Greatest Rock N Roll Band in The World performs all the hits and a few rarities as well! See them live at the New Hope Winery this Saturday.

Wine on the Waterfront

1112 River Rd, Washington Crossing, PA
Saturday, July 27th, 3 pm – 7 pm

The Friends of Washington Crossing Park’s Wine on the Waterfront returns to the banks of the Delaware River in Washington Crossing Historic Park (PA) on Saturday. All proceeds help the Friends continue to provide educational and historical programming at the park. Bring your picnic blanket or chairs, and enjoy a relaxing afternoon on the waterfront sampling wines from a number of Pennsylvania and New Jersey wineries.

Doylestown Borough Block party

North Main Street, Doylestown, PA
July 26-27

Bring the whole family to shop, eat and play in the street this weekend on North Main Street between State and Court streets. Restaurants and shops expand into the block, offering food/drink specials, street games, live music and more.

Movie in the Park: The Grinch

Friday, July 26th, 7:30 – 9:30 pm

One day after Christmas in July, see Dr. Seuss' The Grinch on the big screen at Univest Performance Center. Bring blankets and wear your festive gear for a night of holiday fun under the stars. The Brick and Rita's Italian Ice & Frozen Custard will be there serving up snacks starting at 7:30 pm.
