I take pizza very seriously; it may just be my favorite food. A delicious pie is like a fine work of edible art. After my extensive research, I've found three key ingredients that make a pizza stand above the rest- 1) thin crispy crust, 2) the freshest of mozzarella, & 3) fresh tomato sauce with just the right salty/sweet combination. While this may sound simple, I've actually found very few places that master all three elements. That's why I was so happy after a lunchtime stop at Bacco Bistro.
Bacco Bistro is located in both Doylestown & North Wales. When we visited their Doylestown location, I must say I didn't expect anything more than an average slice of pizza as I walked into their restaurant, located in Doylestown Shopping Center next to Acme. As the saying goes, though, don't judge a book by it's cover. Bacco's pizza is cooked in traditional Neapolitan style, with flaky thin crust & fresh ingredients. For my fellow pizza affectionados, it is definitely worth it to take a trip to Bacco.
