Eight-year-old Aubriella is a bright, courageous second grader with a heart full of hope — and she’s in urgent need of a lifesaving kidney transplant.
Born with a rare genetic condition called ARPKD/CHF, Aubriella has spent much of her childhood in and out of hospitals. ARPKD causes cysts to grow in the kidneys, gradually leading to kidney failure. CHF, which affects her liver, causes dangerous scarring and can lead to life-threatening complications.
Despite everything she has faced, Aubriella continues to smile, dream, and fight. Her kidney function has now reached stage 4 chronic kidney disease. There is no cure — only a transplant can save her life.
Her family and friends have been tested, but no match has been found. That’s why we are reaching out to the community with hope and urgency — to help find a living donor who can give Aubriella the chance to grow up.
To be a potential donor, you must:
– Be blood type O (positive or negative)
– Be between 21 and 45 years old
– Have a BMI of 30 or less
– Have no significant medical issues
If you think you may be a match or want to learn more, please fill out the confidential donor questionnaire here. 🔗
