Friday Night, 2/11, the Council Rock North girls varsity basketball team won their home non-conference game against Academy Park by a score of 40-33. Six of those points were earned by Council Rock North Senior Megan Bissol, who made quite a splash with her debut on the court helping take the victory. Megan has been managing the girl's basketball team throughout her time at CRN and Friday Night she took her basketball knowledge from the sideline to the game and proved her skills at the net.
Cheering on Their Cheerleader
It was hard not to notice she had the biggest cheer section in the arena. Megan not only manages the girls basketball team at CRN, she has also been dancing with The Dance Academy in Holland, PA since she was four years old and they showed up in numbers to cheer her on for her first game. She did not disappoint fans as she hit basket after basket. According to her dance instructor Ashton Kline, “She always comes to all of the dance competitions to cheer the girls on, yells the loudest and always has a giant smile on her face. So we wanted to surprise her and thank her for always being our biggest cheerleader.” The entire TDA (The Dance Academy) were in the stands to thank her for cheering them on all these years.
Already garnering the hearts of her teammates and a robust fan base, there's no stopping this senior. Megan Bissol is one to watch and no doubt success will continue to come to this rising star.
