On Saturday April 14th, 2012 at 6:00 PM, The Board of Associates of Fox Chase Cancer Center (Bucks County Chapter) will host their annual fundraising event.  This yea's event, entitled “April in Florence”, will be held once again at the beautiful Keenan Motors Mercedes-Benz dealership in Doylestown, PA.  The night will be filled with dinner, cocktails, live music, and dancing along with live and silent auctions.

Established in 1983, The Center is a non-profit organization devoted to raising funds for cancer research and prevention for Fox Chase Cancer Center.  This year’s special pledge will feature Dr. Igor Astsaturov, whose work at Fox Chase is at the forefront of personalized cancer therapy.  Dr. Astsaturov's expertise has helped to save the lives of many patients in whom conventional approaches to treatment have failed.  Two of those patients will be present to express their gratitude to Dr. Astsaturov.

According to the event chairman Sara Moyer, last year’s fund raiser, April in Paris, raised $118,000 for research and prevention at Fox Chase Cancer Center.  Tickets are $125 per person with patron sponsorship starting at $300 per couple.  For more information on sponsorship and tickets, visit.www.bccfccc.org or contact Sara Moyer at SaraRMoyer@yahoo.com or 215.862.5703.
