It's that time of year- RESOLUTION time! Time to wipe your slate clean and set new goals for the year ahead. If your 2012 New Year's resolutions include plans to get in shape; try new activities; relieve stress; or make new friends, the Bucks County Academy of Fencing's upcoming Taste of Fencing course has you covered.
At both their New Hope & Hatfield locations, BCAF will welcome beginners this winter for a series of hour-long classes to introduce the popular sport.
This year, skip the latest fitness trend and invest in a competitive activity that develops both the body and mind. Fencing is a form of cardiovascular exercise, a fast-paced activity that gets the heart pumping and oxygen flowing (a physical challenge that our 22-year-old intern discovered last year at BCAF).
Some fitness facts about fencing:
- Develops & tones muscle strength
- Improve coordination & precision
- Burns calories
- Improve blood flow & strengthens the heart
- Increases flexibility
- Relieves stress
- Increases concentration
Whether it's for fitness or fun (or both!), now is the time to find out if fencing is an activity that fits into your future.
