International IPA Day!
Isaac Newton's Restaurant and Bar, 18 South State Street, Newtown

Happy International IPA Day! Celebrate with Isaac Newton's, who will be embracing the day in full force. Throughout the day, they will be offering up to 10 different India Pale Ales (or Double IPAs or IPA hybrids, etc.). While you'll have to come in to get the exact line-up, they can let you know that one of the selections will be the hyper-popular Russian River Pliny the Elder Double IPA

Moonlight Walk
Peace Valley Nature Center, 170 Chapman Rd, Doylestown
Starts at 8:30pm

Enjoy the cool (we hope) summer evening as the sun goes down and journey through some of our various habitats to discover what’s going on. Please note that there will be a limited use of flashlights. There is no pre-registration or registration fee, just show up and be ready to walk!

37th Annual Tour of the American Travelling Morrice
New Hope & Lambertville

The American Travelling Morris to present English Traditional Dances during weeklong tour throughout Bucks, Mercer and Hunterdon Counties July 29 – August 4. The exciting sights and sounds of authentic English Morris Dancing will be on display along the Upper Delaware River Valley during late July and early August as performers of the American Travelling Morrice present a weeklong series of shows in communities throughout Bucks, Mercer and Hunterdon Counties.

Benefit Concert with the Jazz Academy
Performing Arts Center, Solebury School, 6832 Phillips Mill Rd, New Hope
Starts at 8:00pm

Enjoy a night of music with the Jazz Academy at Solebury School! The performance is a culmination of students hard work over the past week. There will also be a special jazz performance with students, faculty, jazz pianist Barry Harris. While there is no admission fee, there will be a collection for Little Kids Rock, a non-profit that has restored a music curriculum for over 55,000 students in 24 cities.

On Borrowed Time
Town and Country Players Theater, 4158 York Road, Buckingham
Starts at 8:00pm

A family show about strong love and loyalty between Gramps and his grandson, how they handle tragedy within their family. Funny,poignant,sad,real — all these adjectives describe the play. Then, add “complicated” because Mr. Brink enters the picture to invite Gramps to the great hearafter, but Gramps and Pud resist, further showing their great bond. Bring tissues! This is the third wonderful show in the 2012 season at T & C.Tickets are $15 adults; $10 children 12 and under.

Peachy Fun
The Market at Del Val, 2100 Lower State Road  Doylestown

There is nothing like a fresh-picked peach! Come pick your own peaches, enjoy wagon rides, inflatable attractions, samples, and more. Admission is free!

Bridging the Delaware: Festival of Lights
Bristol Lions Park, Mill & Radcliffe St, Bristol & Burlington Promenade, High Street, Burlington, NJ
1:00pm – 10:00pm

Join Bristol Borough and Burlington for the Festival of Lights! For boaters, kayakers, and paddleboarders, enjoy races and a decorated boat parade. Bring your lawn chair or blanket down to the riverfront promenade and enjoy one of our most popular events. Food and craft vendors and entertainment are all included. The night concludes with the exciting lighted boat show and spectacular fireworks!

Annual Peach Festival
BCHF headquarters, 321 Cedar St, Bristol
1:00pm – 6:00pm

The Bristol Cultural and Historical Foundation will host its annual Peach Festival in its air-conditioned headquarters at 321 Cedar St.  Ticket holders will be treated to angel food cake topped with vanilla ice cream and fresh peaches, plus a beverage.  Takeouts will be available; bring container.  There will also be a sale table of homemade baked goods.  Tickets are $5/adult and $3 under age 12.  Proceeds benefit BCHF awards to Bristol High School graduates.

Concerts in the Park: Think Pink Floyd
Memorial Park, 701 W. Mill Street, Quakertown
6:30pm – 8:30pm

Hear the music of Pink Floyd at the Concerts in the Park series with cover band Think Pink Floyd. This is a free event. The rain date will be Monday, August 6, 2012.
