Start the new year off at First Friday Doylestown on Friday, January 6th from 6pm to 9:30pm. On the first Friday of every month, the streets of Doylestown turn into a gala evening of art and music. Follow the yellow flags to join the festivities. Merchants are open late to exhibit work from local artists and invite you to enjoy the sounds of local musicians. So bring your family and invite your friends… for art's sake.

Vow to be a bit more adventurous in the new year? How about trying Ballroom & Latin Dance? Central Bucks Family YMCA is offering a special trial class on Friday, January 6th from 6:15pm to 7:15pm.  Enjoy a FREE trial class of their popular adult dance class. Pre-registration is required. Get in shape in 2012 at Bucks County Boot Camp at Core Creek Park, happening every Saturday and Sunday from 7am to 8am. Class meets at main parking lot near restrooms on Park Rd. & starts promptly at 7am. MUST REGISTER IN ADVANCE. Support local musicians! On Saturday, January 7th, there are two local CD release parties. First, it's Jared Costa of Newtown's CD Release party at Puck.

Then, over at Saxby's Coffee, celebrate Dina Hall's new album, “Logic and the Heart” from 7:30pm to 9pm. Plus, follow her path to making an album with her YouTube documentary below.

Yoga + Wine = the perfect release from leftover holiday stress! Mellow out with Crossing Vineyards' latest and most creative pairing. Enjoy a one hour Vinyasa Yoga Class at 11:30am.
