Back by popular demand is Chaddsford Tasting Room's Wine & Chocolate Pairings, featuring local gourmet chocolates & fine local wine. If you missed the tastings in February then this is your time to sit back, relax and enjoy delicious chocolate and exceptional wine together each Friday’s in March. Celebrate the start of March at First Friday in Doylestown! From 6pm to 9pm, art and music will fill the picturesque streets. Follow the yellow flags to join the festivities, which are free to the community.
During the school year, the County Theater in Doylestown provides an opportunity for kids to see their favorite film on the big screen from classics to newly released perfect for any “kid” of any age! This week's film is “Princess Bride” and tickets are only $4.
On Saturday, March 5 from 11:00am to 1:30pm, head to Peace Valley Nature Center while the sap is running! Travel to the sugarbush to collect some fresh sap and learn the historical significance of this sweet bounty as well as the method for processing. Warm by the fire & sample treats like maple cotton candy and tasty waffles covered with maple syrup. No fee will be charge for the walk, and maple treats & waffles will be available for purchase. All funds support our environmental education programs.
All weekend long, catch Brendan: An Irish Comedy at McCoole's Arts & Events Place in Quakertown, PA. Shows will take place at 8pm each night as well as 2pm on Sunday. Synopsis: A recent Irish immigrant, Brendan now calls America home. He misses his family but works hard to fit into his adopted country, and find love and meaning in his new life.
