On Thursday, you're so happy that it's almost the weekend that you could sing! Well, what are you waiting for? Every Thursday, The Clubhouse in Newtown offers quality karaoke from Kircher Entertainment. Karaoke regulars from all over Bucks County have been to the ‘Clubber’ to enjoy the extensive and up-to-date song list, enjoy the bar food (including the new pizza parlor), drink specials, and the only pool table in Newtown. Attention local businesses! Friday, September 23rd marks the beginning of Doylestown Connects with SoMeBizLife Mobile, which will continue through Sunday the 25th at The County Theater in Doylestown. The agenda for Doylestown Connects with SoMeBizLife Mobile offers participants many opportunities to discover, experience and enjoy the power of social networking in a dynamic community. In addition to connecting through social networks like Facebook, Twitter and Foursquare, participants will all receive a special “Doylestown Connects” mobile app.

How do the folks in Hollywood produce compelling footage you can’t take your eyes off of? Industry veterans Rick Toone and Ken McArthur are hosting a workshop in Doylestown this weekend to teach the tips and tricks of Hollywood’s A-list. Learn how you can produce better video, no matter what your budget is.

The long awaited Newtown Beerfest arrives on Saturday, September 24th! Start the party early at Isaac Newton's on Friday night with the 2011 kickoff! Sean Hallisey, brewer and Marketing Director for Full Pint, will be on-site as we tap three of Full Pint's most popular beers – TRI-IPA Imperial IPA (9%), Perc E Bust Robust Coffee Porter (5.8%), and White Lightning Belgian White (5.5%). Then on Saturday, sample over 50 breweries from 2pm to 5pm!

Love a good deal? Then head to the annual Newtown Grant Garage Sale on Saturday, September 24th from 8am to 12pm at the Newtown Grant Rec Center. Parking lot and setup your table and watch the buyers come in droves. This is an ideal way to have a garage sale without the hassle of advertising or having strangers coming to your home! *If there is a chance of inclement weather check weather.com's forcast for 8am in Newtown. If the weather is predicted with a 40% chance of rain or greater, the sale will be postponed to the rain date

From 10am to 5pm this Saturday, it's the 42nd Annual Yardley Harvest Day, an authentic Fine Arts and Crafts Festival with beautiful artwork and handmade pieces offered by over 100 exhibitors, lots of free family entertainment, music, delicious food vendors, and community-sponsored booths. The festival is held rain or shine and admission is free to the public.
