The plentiful farmers markets available in Bucks are bound to give you great deals on the freshest ingredients from your local community. Many are open all year round to provide locally baked goods, produce, and more to change things up in your kitchen. Bolton’s Farm Market — 2022 Happening List Winner

When: Open year-round Monday-Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Saturday 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., closed Sunday

Where: 1005 E. Main Street  Silverdale, PA 18962

Why we love it: Bolton’s is family owned and has been around for over 80 years, giving visitors a variety of vendors to explore from homemade baked goods to seasonal produce. It’s also worth a visit in the summer to pick fruit, from blueberries to gooseberries, for your own farm-to-table experience. 

Tabora Farm and Orchard

When: Monday-Sunday 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Where: 1104 Upper Stump Road Chalfont, PA 18914 USA

Why we love it: Tabora farmers market has been in operation for over 20 years, offering delectable sweets, coffee, fresh produce, and a variety of homemade jams and peanut butter. The farm is also the perfect spot for a deli sandwich, baked goods, or gift shop browsing on any given day. Make sure to check out their daily deli and bakery menu, along with the farmers market!

Wrightstown Farmers Market 

When: Saturdays, May through Thanksgiving, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.

Where: Middletown Grange Fairgrounds 576 Penns Park Road, Newtown, PA

Why we love it: This market is filled with not just vegetables, fruits, flowers, and herbs, but also prepared foods like soup and desserts, dairy products like cheese and yogurt, honey from local hives, and so much more.

Perkasie Farmers Market

When: Saturdays, June 4th through October 29th from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.

Where: 1 S. 7th Street, Perkasie, PA

Why we love it: In addition to fresh produce, the market features eggs, cheese, meat, mushrooms, honey, guacamole, coffee, preserves, desserts, flowers, plants, and local craft items.

Yardley Farmers Market

When: Saturday, May 7 through Nov. 19 (except September 17 — Yardley Harvest Day)

Where: Buttonwood Park located in Yardley Borough

Why we love it: This farmers market is a great place for strolling. Liberty Roasters offers cold iced coffees great for a summer cool-down, or you can try samples of over 12 jerk sauces from Love Jerk Hut if you’re feeling adventurous. The market hosts vendors of produce, mushrooms, bread and pastries, honey, natural body products, plants, and gifts.

Doylestown Farmers Market

When: Every Saturday, April 16  through Nov. 19  (except on Arts Festival weekend), from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Where: South Hamilton Street between West Oakland Avenue and West State Street

Why we love it: The oldest continually operating farmers market in the county is celebrating its 47th year. The market is a producers-only market, meaning that the over 30 vendors must grow what they sell or make what they sell from local ingredients. They offer fruit, vegetables, mushrooms, meats, eggs, cheese, fresh and dried herbs, and cut flowers. Products include bread and baked goods, sauces, honey, maple syrup, condiments, pickles, soaps, yarn, and more.

Quakertown Farmers Market

When: Open year-round, Friday and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. 

Where: 201 Station Road, Quakertown, PA 18951

Why we love it: The Quakertown Farmers Market is like no other. It’s been around so long a whole building has built up around it, and shoppers can peruse in climate-controlled comfort. They have free parking, clean, modern restrooms, and boast over 200,000 square feet of indoor-outdoor shopping. Indoor and outdoor combined there are over 500 vendors to check out. One of the favorites in the Quakertown Market is the Sticky Buns from Fleck’s Bakery. But make sure you get there early because they often sell out.

Snipes Farmers Market

When: Saturday 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Where: 90 W Bridge St, Morrisville, PA 19067

Why we love it: Beyond a traditional farmers market with fresh produce, Snipes honey from its own bees, as well as CBD products and herbal products grown on its own farm. Looking for entertainment for the kids? Snipes has you covered with a variety of animals to visit, such as chickens, ducks, goats, bunnies, and more.
