Tom Paxton
McCoole's Arts & Events Place, 10 S. Main St, Quakertown
7:30pm

There's a unique skill that Tom Paxton brings as a folk singer/songwriter. He is the epitome of what folk music is supposed to be. When you hear “Bottle of Wine,” or any of his vast catalog of tunes, you think of the songs as part of who we are as people. Folk music is “people music” and few contemporary songwriters deserve the recognition Tom Paxton received through his “Lifetime Achievement” Grammy. Tickets range from $44 to $54.

Guest Chef Night!

The Night of the Iguana by Tennessee Williams
The Heritage Center, 635 N. Delmorr Ave, Morrisville
8:00pm

Mexico. 1940. Passion, loneliness, and despair collide in a seedy tourist hotel, as a broken man confronts his demons – and several challenging women – to regain his sanity and (perhaps) his self-respect. Bitingly comic and searingly dramatic, Williams' play is a virtuoso vehicle for a highly accomplished group of NET regulars and a few newcomers. Parental discretion strongly advised.

Spero Plays Nero
Sellersville Theater, 24 W. Temple Ave, Sellersville
7:30pm

Join the theater in celebration of the music of Laura Nyro by The Christine Spero Group. Many of Laura Nyro's songs became major pop hits for a diverse range of artists such as The 5th Dimension, Three Dog Night, and Blood Sweat & Tears. Tickets are $11.50/$19.50 for members and $21.50/$29.50 for non-members.
