Attention Bourbon Drinkers! Isaac Newtons is throwing their first Brrrrrrrbon Event on November 21st at 11:30am with bourbon beers, bourbon flights, specially crafted bourbon cocktails and bourbon infused foods and pairings. Just as Isaac Newtons was one of the earlier beers to serve craft beer, they are now at the forefront of the bourbon movement, offer 15-20 selections, in addition to aging their very own bourbon infusions in a wooden barrel.

It's also Movember! Every Friday night in November, Jameson Ambassadors will be buying Jameson Black Barrel shots for all, and for every featured drink with Jameson Black Barrel sold, Isaac's will donate a $1.

FARM FRESH TURKEYS

No more freezer burned turkeys from far away! Here are four farms in Bucks County that are selling fresh turkeys for Thanksgiving. If you want to eat local this Thanksgiving, be sure to order as soon as possible.

Bolton Farm, 1005 Main Street., Route 113, Silverdale: The farm is the only large turkey farm left in the county. They breed and raise their own turkeys, about 8,000 to 10,000 a year. The turkeys are raised naturally and with no antibiotics. They are taking orders from now until two weeks before Thanksgiving. The price is $3.29 a pound. To order, call (215) 257-6047.

Necessity Farm and Dairy, 202 Green Hill Road, Telford: To order a turkey for Thanksgiving, email Carol at necessityfarmsanddairy@gmail.com or call (267) 382-0556. Order before November 19.

Fairview Farm, 831 Pineville Road, Pineville: The farm begins taking orders Nov. 1, within a two pound range. The birds start at 12-14 lbs. and go up to 35 lbs. They come from a farm in Lancaster County. Call to order by the week before Thanksgiving. The bigger the turkey you want, the earlier you should call. Open Monday through Saturdays 8:30am to 5pm. Purely Farm Organically Pastured Meats, 55 B Municipal Road, Pipersville: These turkeys are raised on sight and are fed pasture and locally grown grains. Order as soon as possible. Call (215) 317-0889 for information.

Zen Fitness, a group personal training program with three locations in Bucks County, is holding a Workout for Hunger on Thanksgiving morning to raise funds for Philabundance, the Delaware Valley's largest hunger-relief organization. The Workout for Hunger is a way for community members to help their neighbors in need this holiday season, with the added benefit of burning some extra calories before sitting down to their Thanksgiving.

That cause is the Center for Educational Advancement (CEA), a nonprofit (501c3) community based organization with the mission to Educate, Empower and Employ individuals with special needs. There are 3 ways to participate:

5K Run: Registration is $30 ($35 after 11/18). Or $27 if you are a USATF member.
2K Walk: Registration is $25 ($30 after 11/18).
Fundraise Only: There is no registration fee, but you can be a part of this exciting event by registering to help raise funds for CEA's mission.

Each registrant will have the option to make a bigger impact by fundraising for CEA. 100% of the money raised will fuel CEA’s programs that Educate, Empower and Employ individuals with special needs. CEA has been providing education and transition services for students, while assisting and guiding adults with disabilities into employment, since 1970.

96th Annual 6ABC Dunkin' Donuts Thanksgiving Day Parade
Thursday, November 26, 2015. The parade broadcast begins at 8:30 a.m and ends at approximately 12 noon.
The 1.4-mile 6ABC Dunkin’ Donuts Thanksgiving Day Parade is the oldest Thanksgiving parade in the country and a true Philadelphia tradition. The city streets make way for massive floats and giant balloons, plus local performers from choirs, dance groups, marching bands and more. And Santa himself arrives in grand fashion, ushering Philadelphia into the holiday season. Now in its 96th year, the annual Thanksgiving Day parade promises another visual and celebratory feast. So bundle up, grab the kids or a group of friends and head out for an early holiday treat.

The Logan Inn – New Hope – The Logan Inn will serve up a good ol' fashion Thanksgiving! Why worry about cooking when you can enjoy a homemade three course meal at the beautiful Logan Inn? For $49 guests will receive a soup or salad, an entree (choice between turkey, ham, and stuffed flounder) and a decadent dessert. This menu will be the only menu served on Thanksgiving during the Inn’s open hours 12pm-8pm. Reservations are highly recommended.
