Old Father Christmas Comes to Newtown

Father Christmas is seen to represent the spirit of Christmas: that of good cheer and benevolence to all. Wearing a long, flowing hooded cloak with staff in hand, reindeer pointed shoes, a full white beard, and a cheerful red suite, he walked from village to town giving everyone he met gifts from his wicker basket adorned with holly and mistletoe. Come and visit with him and his beloved wife “Olde Lady Christmas” during the Newtown Historical Association.
Anders & Friends

Formed in 2010, Anders & Friends is a collective effort by 5 Philly area musicians who LOVE to play. Drawing on experience playing in bands such as Splintered Sunlight, Juggling Suns, Dirk Quinn Band, Living Earth, Rooney Mountain String Band and the Mike Kennedy Quartet, Anders & Friends mixes songs you know and love with some deeper cuts from the great songwriters of our time, plus a few originals here and there. The band members' long careers have enabled them to meet lots of wonderful people, making each gig a true meeting of “friends”.
Winter Solstice Celebration

If you are not attuned you are welcome to attend, receive a treatment, and be part of this amazing and beautiful community! Please join us for an open drum circle where we will make music and have FUN! Please bring ANY instruments you have – drums, rattles, flutes, didges, etc. If you don't have a drum – even more reason to come! There will be plenty of instruments to share.
