It's the weekend! Although August is the final stop on what feels like a sprint through summer, there's plenty of time to enjoy local events taking place this weekend. Saturday marks the kickoff to both the Sunflower Festival at Shady Brook Farm as well as Peach Month at Peddler's Village. Live Music at Vince's Pizzeria & Taproom (Happening List Winner)

Join American roots musician Michael Francis McCarthy for an evening of songs blending delta blues, bluegrass, early country, 70s jam and Bolivian folklore on electrified steel string acoustic guitar. Vince's Pizzeria & Taproom is the 2021 Happening List Winner for pizza.

Enjoy an outdoor Latin music performance with Magdaliz and Her Latin Ensemble Crisol. The event is BYOB and you're welcome to bring a picnic or grab takeout food and beverages near the event. Peach Month Kick-Off at Peddler's Village

Where: Peddler's Village, 100 Peddler's Village, New Hope, PA

It's peach month at Peddler's Village. Enjoy shopping with plenty of peachy treats. There will be deals and specials, savory peach dishes at the Village restaurants and outdoor food tents, as well as live entertainment.

Caribbean Night

When: Saturday, August 7th, 6:00 pm – 9:00 pm
Where: The Bar at 1720, 136 E Butler Ave, Chalfont, PA

Sunflower Festival

When: August 7, 8, 14 & 15, 10 am – 4 pm
Where: 931 Stony Hill Road, Yardley, PA

Don't miss the Sunflower Festival at Shady Brook Farm. Stroll through the fields for perfect photo opportunities and pick your own stunning flowers. The fun also includes wagon rides, BEARS playground, BarnYard animals, Animated Chicken Show, SBF 500 pedal go-carts, live music onstage, gem mining (extra fee), food and beverages.
