Catch Disney on Ice at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia and take a stroll down South 13th Street to see the lights and decor. The 69th Annual Reenactment of George Washington's crossing of the river at the Washington Crossing Historic Park is taking place on Christmas Day. See the full list of weekend happenings below.

69th Annual Christmas Day Crossing Reenactment
When: Saturday, December 25th, 12 pm – 9 pm
Where: Washington Crossing Historic Park, 1112 River Road, Washington Crossing, PA
Witness American history come to life. Each December, thousands of people gather on the banks of the Delaware River to watch the reenactment of George Washington's daring 1776 Christmas night river crossing. During the event, several hundred reenactors in Continental military dress listen to an inspiring speech by General Washington and then row across the river in replica Durham boats. The 69th annual Christmas Day reenactment is on Saturday, December 25th from noon – 2 pm (the actual crossing begins at 1 pm) and admission is free.
Holiday Tours at Historic Pennypacker Mills
When: Saturday, December 25th, 10 am – 4 pm
Where: Pennypacker Mills, 5 Haldeman Road, Schwenksville, PA
A visit to Pennypacker Mills celebrates the best in vintage Christmas decor and history. Recalling a time when electricity was not available, visitors will enter a family home full of sparkling glass ornaments, a Pennsylvania German putz, simply wrapped presents, kerosene lamps, vintage Christmas cards, toys and a beautifully decorated Christmas tree. Experience the holiday traditions of the Pennypacker family, find new and exciting ways to decorate your own home and marvel at both the formality of the first floor entertainment venues and the family quarters. Disney on Ice
When: Saturday, December 25th – Sunday, January 2 (select times)
Where: Wells Fargo Center, 3601 S. Broad Street, Philadelphia, PA
Bring the family to celebrate the holidays as Disney on Ice presents Let's Celebrate at the Wells Fargo Center. In this production, audiences can see 50 Disney characters take the ice. Mickey and Minnie host as they remember 14 different Disney tales. Show times vary by date. Tickets can be purchased online or by phone. All guests over 2 years old must have a ticket.
Holiday Film Fest: Gremlins
When: Sunday, December 26th, 2-4 pm
Where: Hopewell Theater, 5 S Greenwood Ave, Hopewell, NJ
With its Christmas lights and dusting of snow, Kingston Falls is an idyllic small town, the embodiment of a Norman Rockwell painting – that is, until the Gremlins take over. A father returns from Chinatown with an unusual pet, a Mogwai – a gift for his son. The rules are simple: keep your Mogwai away from water, bright lights and most important, never ever feed him after midnight. But the rules are inadvertently broken, and the consequences multiply at an alarming rate. Gremlins is playing at Hopewell Theater on Sunday at 2:00 pm. Buy tickets here.

Outdoor Christmas Musicians at Longwood Gardens
When: Sunday, December 26th, 4:30 pm – 8:30 pm
Where: Longwood Gardens, 1001 Longwood Road, Kennett Square, PA
Enjoy festive music at Longwood Gardens while exploring the stunning outdoor display. The Old Towne Carolers will be strolling the outdoor gardens, while Rob Dickensen and the Brandywine Christmas Minstrels and Galena Brass will be performing outside of the Peirce-du Pont House.
Miracle on South 13th Street
When: December 26, 6 pm – 11:30 pm
Where: 1600 S 13th Street, Philadelphia, PA
A homegrown South Philadelphia tradition is the Miracle on South 13th Street. Homes are decorated with lights and over-the-top decorations, which turn on each evening. Expect traffic.

Virtual Wine Tasting Experience

Where: Live on Zoom
Join in on a virtual wine tasting with hip hop icon, Darryl McDaniels from Run-DMC and Old York Cellars sommelier, Laurin Dorman. Darryl will share his passion and enthusiasm for brining people together through wine and music, while the wine educator will lead you through a tasting of three wines, expertly paired with locally made chocolate truffles by The Fudge Shoppe. Included is one autographed collectible bottle by DMC. A portion of the proceeds will go to support The Felix Organization, a non-profit founded by Darryl McDaniels and Emmy-winning casting director, Sheila Jaffe in 2006 to create inspiring experiences and opportunities for children in foster care. Invite your friends and family over to join in on the fun. Your tasting kit will have plenty of wine for multiple people to taste.
