Feeding Frenzy 2023 at Barn Nature Center
When: January 20, 5-8 pm
Where: Barn Nature Center, 1283 Almshouse Road, Doylestown, PA
Explore the world of taste at Feeding Frenzy Friday. This open-house style event gives you the opportunity to watch and assist in a live reptile feeding show and test out their own sense of taste with refreshments. There will be two live feeding shows, the first at 5:30 and the second at 7 pm with time to interact with the nature center before and after.
Unplugged Family Days: Make and Take Sensory Sachets
When: January 22, 1 – 3 pm
Where: Michener Art Museum, 138 South Pine Street, Doylestown, PA
Leave the screens at home and enjoy some “unplugged: time at the Michener Art Museum. Families are invited to participate in fun, make-and-take activities inspired by current exhibitions and facilitated by museum education staff. Build meaningful connections with a child or grandchild while playing and creating together. Activities are adaptable for all ages.
Lunar New Year Celebration
When: January 22, 1-4 pm
Where: Pearl S. Buck International, 520 Dublin Road, Perkasie, PA
Celebrate with a family-friendly Lunar New Year Celebration. There will be kids' games and activities and the event is free. This is the year of the Rabbit. You will have the opportunity to make binoculars and play “I Spy” in Pearl's house, learn to use chopsticks, make a Year of the Rabbit fan, build a statue activity, learn Chinese characters, learn about Lunar New Year and the Water Rabbit and make a gift for children with special needs living in Vietnam orphanages served by Pearl S. Buck International.
Comedian Emma Willmann at Zlock Performing Arts Center

Emma is one of New York City's top comedians, and perhaps one of the only dyslexic-gender-wiggly-comics-with-ADHD from Blue Hill, Maine. The Comedy Cellar, on Netflix's: The Comedy Line Up, Comedy Central and is one of the few comics ever to have multiple appearances on The Late Show with Stephan Colbert. All of which has earned Emma a spot on Caroline's 10 Funniest Comics, Just For Laughs: New Faces, and TimeOut's 10 Funniest Women in NYC. Catch her show at Zlock Performing Arts Center.

Kid's Night Out at Dynamix Gymnastics

Give your kids an evening of fun while you take the evening off. Kids Night Out is a three hour action packed event, designed to keep children flipping all night long in a fun and safe environment. Children will be separated by age and there will be activities such as gymnastics, obstacles courses, crafts and more. Snacks, pizza and beverages will be provided. River House Author Series

Calling all literary buffs: River House at Odette's is continuing its Author Series in partnership with Doylestown Bookshops. Each month, celebrated writers, including multiple New York Times Best-Selling authors, will host meet and greets, book signings, and private readings during their stay at the historic hotel. Adding a special twist to the book club concept, a literary-inspired cocktail will be curated each month for guests to immerse themselves in selected narratives. This month, Jean Hanff Korelitz will be visiting River House at Odette's to discuss their recent literary work, The Latecomer.
