January is a chilly month but that doesn't mean you have to stay inside. This weekend's activities include Fire & Frost Fun at Peddler's Village, America's Got Talent's comedian, Tom Cotter at the Newtown Theatre, the Friday Night Tap Takeover Series at Bishop Estate Vineyard and Winery and so much more. Fire & Frost Fun at Peddler's Village

When: January 7, 4-8 pm and January 8, 12-8 pm
Where: Peddler's Village, Route 202 & 263, Lahaska, PA

Enjoy bonfires, family activities, outdoor food and drinks and a Village-wide display of ice sculptures. This is the last weekend of the holiday light display as well. Don't forget to find Jack Frost, a family-friendly, Village-wide scavenger hut where children can win prizes. To participate in the scavenger hunt, check in at the outdoor Hospitality Booth near the Main Green.

Bee's Booth + Brews: DIY Macrame Fringe Plant Hanger Workshop

When: January 8th, 11 am – 1 pm
Where: Neshaminy Creek Brewing Co., 139 N. Main Street, Unit 1, Dublin, PA

Come out for drinks and a DIY Macrame Fringe Plant Hanger workshop at Neshaminy Creek Brewing Co.'s new location in Dublin, PA. No experience is necessary to attend this event. Your ticket includes all supplies needed to create your own fringe plant hanger, a regular terracotta pat, instruction from Nicole and a beer from NCBC. America's Got Talent's Tom Cotter

When: January 8th, 9-11 pm
Where: Newtown Theatre, 120 North State Street, Newtown, PA

Stand-up comedian Tom Cotter (America's Got Talent) will perform at the Newtown Theatre on Saturday, January 8th. Doors open at 8 pm and all tickets are general admission. Tom Cotter is from Season 7 of America's Got Talent. He was the first ever comedian to be a finalist on the show.

Friday Night Tap Take Over Series at Bishop Estate Vineyard and Winery

When: Sunday – Thursday 11-6, Friday and Saturday 11-9
Where: Bishop Estate Vineyard and Winery, 2730 Hilltown Pike, Perkasie, PA

Enjoy live music, great food, local beers and amazing wines at Bishop Estate! Take Takeover Series on Fridays starts January 7th. The first Take Take Over is with Sage Alley Brewery from Coopersburg. Sage Alley will be taking over the taps and serving four of their beers all night. Come out and enjoy Friday evening live music. Mike and Brian Project will be playing acoustic from 6-9 pm. Bruno's Authentic Food Truck will be on site from 5-9 pm. Pet and family friendly. Wifi available. Pretty Woman – The Musical

Bucks County New Year Job Fair

Where: Neshaminy Mall, 707 Neshaminy Mall, Bensalem, PA

Local job seekers can get a jump start on making New Year's job-related resolutions come true at the Bucks County New Year job fair. Job seekers looking for a new career will have an abundance of options from a multitude of employers attending. Hosted by RecuruitmentQueen, a Bucks County-based digital job board, the career fair features a wide array of positions in various industries, including healthcare, customer service, banking, manufacturing and more. In all, several hundred jobs will be available at the job fair. The following employers have signed up to exhibit so far: Pickering Manor, The First National Bank & Trust Co. of Newtown, Dow Jones, Brian's House, Inc., Traffic Plan, American Heritage Credit Union, Holy Redeemer Health System and Double H Plastics. More employers will be added to the list. Bring several copies of your resume for face-to-face interactions with hiring managers and recruiters. Professional attire is not required, but recommended.
