Touch a Truck | Doylestown

When: May 14, 10 am
Where: Doylestown Central Park, Wells Road, Doylestown, PA

Bring your little ones to Central Park for the annual Touch-A-Truck event. You will have the opportunity to let your children experience what it's like to sit behind the wheel of trucks, tractors, snow plows and fire engines. Sit in the seat, honk the horn and turn the wheel of their favorite trucks. It's free and fun for the whole family.

Neshaminy Mall Carnival

When: May 12-22, 4-10 pm Monday – Thursday, 4-11 pm Friday, noon-11 pm Saturday, noon-10 pm Sunday
Where: Neshaminy Mall, 707 Neshaminy Mall, Bensalem, PA

Experience the Neshaminy Mall Carnival from May 12-22 with exciting rides and games for all ages. Indulge in the deep-fried treats and other tasty carnival treats. Event admission and parking are free. Unlimited ride wristbands are $35 on site. Visit the website for ride ticket specials and coupon savings on rides and food. Parent/guardian supervision is required for ages 17 or younger.

Community Yard Sale Benefitting Alex's Lemonade Stand

When: May 14, 9 am – 1 pm
Where: Parking lot of Keller Williams Newtown, 12 Terry Drive, Newtown, PA

Save the date! Community Yard Sale in Newtown to benefit Alex's Lemonade Stand, an organization driven to help cure childhood cancer and support and empower families. Sell your stuff or come peruse tons of great items. There will be raffles from local businesses, activities for the kids and of course, the signature lemonade stand. Learn more on the Facebook Page.

Bucks County Strong 5K

When: May 15, 9:30 am
Where: Doylestown YMCA, 2500 Lower State Road, Doylestown, PA

The Bucks County Strong 5K is returning to an in-person event after being virtual for the last two years. The race will begin on the YMCA's Doylestown campus and end at the stadium across the street at CB West. Vendors and family activities will be included.

“The C-Word” | Roxey Ballet Company

When: May 13-15, various times
Where: Mill Ballet School Event Center, 46 N Sugan Road, New Hope, PA

The C-Word: Stories of Triumph Over Breast Cancer is a multi-media program with dance, music, art and theater celebrating the lives of breast cancer survivors. Originally created through interviews with 22 strong women, choreographer Mark Roxey and songwriting team Robert Maggio and Matthew Hardy used music, dance, and spoken word to capture the essence of the survivor's stories and lives. Eleven of the survivors perform alongside the professional dancers of Roxey Ballet. Performance dates are May 13 at 7 pm, May 14th at 4 pm and 7 pm and May 15th at 2 pm. Get your tickets here.

Quakertown Dairy Queen Car Cruise

When: May 15, 4-8 pm
Where: Dairy Queen, 206 S West End Blvd. (Route 309), Quakertown, PA

Join the Quakertown Diary Queen and The Good Time Motorvators for a car cruise. There will be food and music as well. All years, makes and models are welcome. A $1 donation is appreciated and all donations go to the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia.

Tyler Spring Arts & Culture Festival

When: May 14-15, 10 am – 6 pm
Where: Tyler Park Center for the Arts, 10 Stable Mill Trail, Richboro, PA

This new special event builds on the successful and long-running model of Crafts in the Meadow. Celebrate diverse cultural traditions including Fine Art, Craft, Sculpture, Music, Dance and Cuisine in a unified festival for the senses. Tickets for the event are $10 per person. Members and children get in free.

Pride Month ‘Love is Love Gala' Event Kick Off

When: May 19
Where: River House at Odette's, 274 River Road, New Hope, PA

Celebrate the start of Pridefest in New Hope with a kick-off party like no other at the River House at Odette's. Inspired by one of the most fabulous collaborations of art and fashion, see and be seen at a Met Gala inspired soiree. There will be a silent auction with local art displayed throughout the evening, but out of all the art, the biggest statement piece will be you. Wearable art is the theme of the evening. Come ready to strut your stuff on the runway, with the amazing MC Eva Guasconi in the hopes of being crowned Best Dressed. Tickets include admission to the fashion show and art gallery from local artists, ability to view and bid in the silent auction benefitting New Hope Celebrates, complimentary hors d'oeuvres and a cash bar. BalletX Spring Series

When: May 18-19
Where: The Mann Center, 5201 Parkside Ave, Philadelphia, PA

BalletX, Philadelphia's premier contemporary ballet, returns to the iconic TD Pavillion at the Mann. The Spring Series is part of the Mann's Picnic series. Audiences are invited to arrive early to enjoy live music and family-friendly dance classes. Times are May 18th and 19th at 8 pm. Doors open at 6:30 pm.
