Pearl S. Buck House National Historic Landmark – Happenings List Winner!

The Pearl S. Buck House National Historic Landmark, located in Perkasie, is participating in the 2021 Blue Star Museum Initiative, which offers free admission to currently serving military personnel and their families between Armed Forces Day, May 15th and Labor Day, September 6th. The Pearl S. Buck National Historic Landmark is the former home of Pulitzer and Nobel Prize-winning author, humanitarian, and social justice activist Pearl S. Buck. The free admission program is available for those currently serving in the United States Military – Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps, Coast Guard as well as members of the Reserves, National Guard, U.S. Public Health Commissioned Corps, NOAA Commissioned Corps, and up to five family members. Bowman's Hill Tower – Happenings List Winner!
When: May 14-16
Where: Bowman's Hill Tower, 1 Tower Road, New Hope, PA 18938
Take in the scenic views from 125 feet in the air, atop Bowman's Hill. Offering a 14-mile view, Bowman's Hill is the best place to see the countryside and the Delaware River. The tower was built in 1929-31 to commemorate what may have been a lookout point for Washington's troops to watch for enemy activity on the Delaware River. The tower is located within Washington Crossing Historic Park. This weekend there is a free morning spring bird walk (May 14th, 9:00 – 10:00 am) and tours of Bowman's Hill Tower and the Crossing the Delaware tour are now available. Pennsbury Manor – Happenings Finalist!

Where: 400 Pennsbury Memorial Road, Morrisville, PA 19067
Visit William Penn's recreated 17th century estate sits on 43 acres on the Delaware River. Take a tour and learn about colonial life at Penn's country home. Experience colonial craft demonstrations and daily life as it was many years ago and then take a walk down the river. Guided tours are available Tuesday – Saturday and are 1.5 hours long. Tours include entrance into the exhibit, an orientation video and a guided tour of the Manor House and Kitchen House. Schedule your tour here.
Spring Food Truck Festival
Historic Bolton Mansion (Happenings List Finalist!) + Mommy's Lil' Black Book

The Bolton Mansion is the ancestral home of the Pemberton family and has been known for two hundred and ninety years as the “Bolton Farm.” The house is one of the most significant in Pennsylvania, and almost all of the inhabitants since the days of William Penn have influenced the history of the State of Pennsylvania. This Saturday, the Spring Food Truck Festival, organized by Mommy's Lil' Black Book is taking place at the Bolton Mansion. Grab a blanket and hang out on the hill with a variety of different food trucks, beer, vendors, children's activities and a DJ. Admission and parking are free. Read more here.

Music at the Theater
Sellersville Theater

Where: Sellersville Theater, 24 West Temple Avenue, Sellersville, PA 18960
The Sellersville Theater was originally built as a farmhouse in 1742 by German immigrants along a Lenape trail. It became the Sellersville Theater in 1894. Saturday, May 15th, enjoy a tribute concert to Jimi Hendrix. Read more about the show and grab your tickets on the website.

Help preserve the historic village with good company and delicious food. Stroll through the grounds of the historic Stagecoach Tavern and take a behind the scenes tour of the Tavern, followed by light food and drinks, fine wine and beer. There will be a raffle too!
