FEZtival of Trees & Lights with Trains

Celebrate the holiday season this weekend at the FEZtival of Trees & Lights! Walk through inside through a beautiful forest full of uniquely decorated trees. Enjoy refreshments, shop the Marketplace, view a model train layout, and explore the endless children's activities to keep your little ones entertained. Also, don't miss out on taking a free digital photo with Santa! Admission for adults is $5 and children under 12 years are free. Tickets are needed in advance for the breakfast with Santa on Saturday morning from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. Check out this family-friendly event happening all weekend long!

Riegelsville Public Library Used Book Sale

Calling all book lovers! Riegelsville is hosting a used book sale to grab some of your well-loved favorites. An early bird book sale begins on Friday from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a $10 donation at the door. Another book sale begins on Saturday, November 19, and Saturday, November 26 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m, and a bag sale will also commence!

A Tribute to The Grateful Dead: Box of Rain

The Art of the Speakeasy

One of Newtown's newest businesses and one of its oldest are teaming up to create “The Art of the Speakeasy,” a special event that combines art, cocktails, dessert, live music, and a speakeasy burlesque show. The event kicks off with a cocktail party at ArtWRKD, Newtown's newest art space. There, guests will enjoy mingling, specialty cocktails, dessert, live artist demonstrations, and the opportunity to purchase gallery pieces. The party then continues in the Newtown Theatre, entering in true speakeasy fashion through the backdoor after giving a secret password. Inside, a speakeasy show will begin. Tickets are $50 and are available for purchase here.

Daily Winter Wonderland Tours

Starting this Saturday on all weekdays throughout the holiday season, one-hour guided tours will be offered at Fonthill Castle! The castle will showcase Henry Mercer's home decorated for the holidays. Perkasie Patchwork Live Coffeehouse

You are invited to the Perkasie Patchwork Coffeehouse on Saturday featuring Piper's Request! This concert’s benefit is Southwest FL ERT, a program of Mennonite Disaster Service helping to repair and rebuild after the devastation of Hurricane Ian. Shady Brook Farm Holiday Light Show

The annual Holiday Light Show at Shady Brook Farm is back! Enjoy the over three million lights from the comfort of your own vehicle with friends and family. Turn on your car radio to 90.7 FM to listen to holiday tunes while you drive throughout the farmland. Guests are also welcome to purchase tickets for a wagon ride through the lights. Gingerbread Competition & Display

Celebrate a holiday tradition since 1984 with Peddler's Village for their annual Gingerbread competition! More than 75 creative and whimsical entries will be on display for visitors to come gaze at for free. Entries will be judged on the week of November 14 and winners will be posted on November 18. Another event to check out this Friday in the village is the Grand Illumination Celebration. At 6:15 p.m., the village will light up at the flick of a switch from Santa and Mrs. Claus! Enjoy food and drinks at any of the restaurants, start holiday hopping, and watch dance performances by local groups.

New Jersey Weekend Happenings

Country Line Dancing & Basket Auction

When: Friday, November 18 at 7 p.m.

This Friday, country line dance with DJ Dave! The evening includes line dance instructions for traditional and new music, and all are welcome. Take a chance on the basket auction as well, or the 50/50 raffle. The event is for those 21 years old and up, and the proceeds, including the $10 cover at the door will go directly to the VFW Veterans. Bring your dance shoes and luck!

Michael Glabicki of Rusted Root with Dirk Miller

Come listen to the music of Michael Glabicki paired with Rusted Root's guitar player Dirk Miller. The band evolved around front-man Glabicki's sound and vision – one of a kind blend of acoustic folk, rock, and world music that took the Pittsburgh band from local clubs to multi-platinum record sales and touring careers. Glabicki is opening new doors with his solo career, regularly touring with Miller. Advanced ticket price is $35 plus taxes and fees and day-of-show pricing is $40 plus taxes and fees.

Philadelphia Zoo Presents LumiNature

With more than a million twinkling lights across 14 one-of-a-kind artistically illuminated zones, LumiNature is sure to wow adults and children alike as they take a magical journey celebrating the wonder of wildlife and the beauty of our planet during the holiday season. Some feature pieces and experiences include a brand new Penguin Prismatic show featuring a 40 ft. tall penguin, a 100 ft-long aquarium tunnel, a 22-feet-tall Butterfly Tree, a Wilderness Express Train, and more. LumiNature is a nighttime experience, with timed entrance tickets available every half hour from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. All guests must pre-purchase timed tickets at philadelphiazoo.org/luminature. The Kennel Club of Philadelphia's National Dog Show

The National Dog Show is hosted by the Kennel Club of Philadelphia as an annual celebration of dogdom, dating back to 1879! Over 100 American Kennel Club-sanctioned breeds, including one new breed in 2022, will be among some 1,500 of the nation's top dogs to compete for the title of “Best in Show” this weekend! Starting on Tuesday, November 22 through Sunday, January 8, 2023, Pennypacker Mills will be decorated head to toe in Christmas decor! Your visit will uncover the story behind Christmas of the past (1850), present (1910), and the future (1920), and how each timeframe coincided with Pennsylvania Governor Samuel Pennypacker's life. Tours are free admission and with free parking! Pennypacker Mills is closed on Mondays and holidays.
