Artisan Showcase: The Craft Boutique

Autumn Encampment & Market

Travel back in time and experience life in a Revolutionary War camp this Saturday from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. Experience the historic village with the colonial townspeople selling their wares, soldiers drilling 18th-century military tactics, and the park's fife and drum corps performing throughout the day. Crafts, cooking demonstrations, and one-on-one interaction with colonial reenactors are also available for everyone! Tickets are available online or at the gate on the day of the event, rain or shine.

Attend Fall Fest Market in the Vineyard this weekend to browse local vendors and live music by Susie Steen while enjoying a glass of the vineyard's wine or specialty cocktail! Variety Fall Fest

Variety – The Children's Charity of the Delaware Valley, will hold its annual Fall Fest on its 77-acre campus. With admission, attendees can enjoy hayrides, pumpkin picking and decorating, sensory-friendly trick-or-treating, Halloween story time, and a pop-up dance party and live music with Maureen “Reenie” Stanko and Mark Keffer. Come dressed in costume and get in the Halloween spirit with various activities, BBQ, raffles, vendors, and more. Tickets can be purchased here or on-site. Pre-sale ends on Thursday, October 13.
The Autumn Alive! Fall Festival

Experience Quakertown's Autumn Alive! fall festival that will be buzzing with crafters, businesses, and pet rescue organizations lining up Broad Street from 4th Street to Hellertown Avenue and down Branch Street. Be sure to check out the live music, cupcake contests, food court, and samples of beer, spirits, and wine in the Beer Garden on East Broad Street. Grave Tales: Old Goshenhoppen Church

Believe it or not, there is a library that sits beside the Old Goshenhoppen church and each headstone in the burial ground has a book that contains a story…sometimes several stories. Join the Old Goshenhoppen Cemetary Association for an educational and fascinating tour of the burial yard at 1 p.m. For those that dare to walk at night for the evening tours, those start at 5:30 p.m. and leave the church every half hour with the last tour at 8:30 p.m. Hear, first hand, some of the stories directly from the departed. Admission is payable at the door and all proceeds benefit the restoration of the Gabel headstone.

River House at Odette's will debut a Fireside Ghost Tales Series at Odette's Overlook, the hotel's signature alfresco dining outlet. These interactive evenings will feature an informal talk and Q&A with historian and ghost tour guide, Carolyn Randolph. There will also be a psychic to reveal your past, present, and future. This event is free to attend, but make sure to RSVP by phone, as it's first come, first serve.

18 1/2 Film

In 1974, a White House transcriber finds the only copy of the infamous 18 1/2-minute gap in Nixon's Watergate tapes, but her attempts to leak it to the press run afoul. 18 1/2 is an award-winning thriller and comedy by director Dan Mirvish. The Hopewell Theater is hosting this screening and it will be followed by a directors talk featuring filmmakers Daniel Moya and Dan Mirvish! The film is rated PG-13.
