A Very Furry Christmas and Furry & Bright Christmas Drive-Thru Experience at Sesame Place

Join Sesame characters to celebrate the holiday season at their annual A Very Furry Christmas event! At $20.99 (limited time only, check website for the most accurate pricing), for single day tickets for ages two and up, the park is transformed into a spectacle of twinkling lights, festive décor and sights and sips for those of all ages to enjoy!

Take in the “1-2-3 Christmas Tree Show,” a brand-new music and light show featuring a 30-foot, fully animated tree! Watch in amazement as the trees project images and sing along to the holiday soundtrack in accompaniment! Be sure to hop on the Sesame Place Furry Express for both a fun train ride, plus an exclusive tour of The TwiddleBugs’ Gingerbread Factory!

If you're not comfortable walking around the park, you can also visit from the comfort of your own vehicle! This year, there is a brand-new Furry & Bright Christmas Drive-Thru! Priced at $45 per car, on select dates on Tuesdays & Wednesdays from 5-8pm, between November 10-December 23. Take a journey through a festive Winter delight amid twinkling lights, décor, holiday music and even falling snowflakes creating the illusion of a Winter snowfall. Also delight in an illuminated, 9-foot Menorah to commemorate Hanukkah and be sure to keep your eyes peeled for Santa!

Gingerbread House Display and Lights at Peddler’s Village

Stroll the village, indulge in holiday shopping and festive treats and check out the annual Gingerbread House Displays.

Peddler’s Village Family Mystery Walking Tours: Elf on the Stealth:

When: Fridays, November 20 through January 10. Fridays at 6 p.m. and 7 p.m.; Saturdays on the hour from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m.; Sundays on the hour from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.

It’s almost Christmas, and the Elf on the Shelf is missing! Join Mrs. Claus at the “North Pole” for a walking tour and help solve the mystery of the missing Elf on the Shelf.Tickets are $25 per person. It does not include dinner, but you can enjoy dinner before or after the show and receive a 10% discount at select restaurants by showing your receipt. Holidays at Fonthill Castle

Fonthill Castle is always beautifully decorated with themed holiday trees and decorations. This year, they're offering three holiday programs. 1) Daily guided Winter Wonderland tours of the castle where you'll learn about the life and legacy of Henry Chapman Mercer. 2) Explore at your own pace during a 30-minute Holiday Lights Meander. 3) See Fonthill Castle aglow during their guided Evening Tours. Amazing Christmas Village Market in Neshaminy Square

When: November 20 through December 24
Where: Neshaminy Square (where PennDOT is), 4201 Neshaminy Blvd., Bensalem

This is the first year for this event! There will be wooden kiosks set up for vendors of all kinds. Read more about it HERE.

Holiday Drive-In Movie Spectacular at Snipes Farm

When: Select dates starting Friday, November 20. Movies will start at 7 p.m. Gates will open at 5:30 p.m.
Where: 890 W. Bridge Street, Morrisville

This is a first of its kind immersive holiday experience created with Mid Atlantic Event Group and Snipes Farm. Come watch holiday favorite movies on a 50-foot screen as a Winter Wonderland and Holiday Lights surround you! Tickets are $40 per car. Christmas Village in Philadelphia

When: Preview Weekend is November 21-22. Officially opens on Thanksgiving Day from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. After that, Friday through Saturday from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Sunday through Thursday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.

The Christmas Village in Philadelphia is one tradition that is committed to providing a safe and fun experience this year!

The authentic open-air German-style Christmas Market at LOVE Park and City Hall will return from Thanksgiving Day, November 26 through Christmas Eve, December 24. Keeping in mind the health of vendors and guests, there will be a considerably modified layout and extensive safety precautions in response to COVID-19. Find out more HERE.

Wild Lights at Elmwood Park Zoo

Celebrate the holiday season surrounded by a festively decorated plethora of LEGOS! Every weekend this holiday season, join Legoland for their Holiday Bricktacular and snap photos on their LEGO sleigh and meet their new LEGO reindeer! Christmas Excursions on the New Hope Railroad

When: Now through December 30
Where: 32 W. Bridge Street, New Hope

The New Hope Railroad offers two Christmas-themed train rides: Santa's Steam Train Ride (a Steam Locomotive powered excursion) and the North Pole Express Train (a Diesel Locomotive Powered Excursion). Both rides are a 1-hour roundtrip from New Hope to Lahaska.

This year, they're also debuting a brand new experience: Santa's Private Railcar! After deboarding the train, passengers will be able to visit a magical railcar to get photos with Santa in his workshop.

A Longwood Christmas

When: Now through January 10, 2021; Gardens open daily, 10am-11pm; timed admissions tickets are required: $25 for adults 19 and older, $22 for seniors 65 and older & college students with ID, $18 for military and vet, $13 for youth ages 5-18.

Light up the holiday season amid festive twinkling trees and plant palettes in shades of winter whites, reds and deep evergreens. Explore favorites like poinsettias and other festive plants and flowers within the observatory. Head outside and take in the famed Garden Railway, a display of 31 locomotives, steam engines, diesel engines, specialty engines and even childhood favorite, Thomas the Tank Engine! Becoming a “tunnel of light,” for the holidays, it is a fun way to add delight to the season.

Enjoy holiday music from Rob Dickenson & The Brandywine Christmas Minstrels while taking in the outdoor displays. Don’t forget to take in the transfixing open-air theatre fountain shows!

Pearl S. Buck International Festival of Trees

When: Now through Wednesday, December 30
Where: 520 Dublin Road, Perkasie

Each year during the Annual Festival of Trees, the rooms of Pearl S. Buck’s iconic Bucks County stone farmhouse come alive with the glow of holiday decorations. The event showcases beautiful trees and vignettes designed by Bucks County’s best artists, decorators, and local community groups to convey the spirit of Pearl S. Buck’s legacy as an author, humanitarian, and activist. Even though this year will look a little different due to COVID-19 protocols, the Festival of Trees remains one of the most unique and historic holiday traditions in the region. Festival of Trees will run from Saturday, November 14 – Wednesday, December 30, 2020. There will be no tours on Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas, or New Year’s Eve.

Shady Brook 2020 Holiday Light Show, Santa Visits, Holiday Gift Shoppe & More

Holiday Garden Railway at Morris Arboretum

Visitors of all ages will be wowed by a quarter mile of track featuring seven loops and tunnels with fifteen different rail lines and two cable cards, nine bridges, and more! PHestivaL of Trees

When: Friday, November 27 through Sunday, November 29 from 4 p.m. to 11 p.m.
Where: The Fairgrounds at the Greater Philadelphia Expo Center, 100 Station Avenue, Oaks

This festive holiday drive-thru features 200 uniquely decorated holiday trees, live nativity scenes, Hanukkah menorah, Kwanzaa imagery, a 30-foot live decorated tee, a drone light show … and even Santa! Tickets are $20 per car and benefit local animal shelters and rescues. Find out more HERE.

12th Annual (VIRTUAL) House Lighting at The Warrell's Elderberry Lights

When: Saturday, November 28 at 6 p.m.

The Warrell Family won't be hosting their normal large crowds with refreshments this year, but they'll be live streaming the lightning of their house for their season. Be sure to stop by to see the lights throughout the holiday!

Holly Nights at Home (VIRTUAL) Pennsbury Manor Event

Bucks County Playhouse Presents “The Playhouse Merry Little Christmas Concert”

When: Thursday, December 3 – Sunday, December 13

Bucks County Playhouse celebrates the holidays this year with “A Playhouse Merry Little Christmas!”  Take a nostalgic journey to celebrations of Christmas past in this delightful, hour-long concert featuring a cast of four, singing and dancing up a holiday storm accompanied by a live on-stage band.  Songs include “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas”, medleys from your favorite holiday movies, and  some spectacular tap dancing for good measure!   Enjoy a hot chocolate in our holiday tent before or after the show… and celebrate the holidays the Playhouse way!

Live audiences are strictly limited (Only 20% of our usual capacity is allowed in the Playhouse), so order early.  Each concert is presented under the Playhouse’s stringent safety protocols:  hospital quality HVAC system, a spray down prior to every performance, and masks for all.

The Blinkinghouse

The 21st Annual 92.5 XTU Toy Truck Parade

Join Philadelphia-based country music radio station, 92.5 XTU at Xfinity Live! for their annual toy truck parade! Unlike other years, this year’s parade will be held in a drive-thru style! Decorate your truck/vehicle in festive holiday gear and décor and be judged by XTU personalities; you may even win a prize!

Be sure to bring along a toy donation, snap a photo and then be on your way!

111th Perkasie Tree Lightning Ceremony (VIRTUAL)

Perkasie's Tree Lighting Ceremony began in 1909 and is officially the oldest community tree lighting ceremony in the United States.
This episode of Perkasie LIVE will allow you to experience this historic event in the safety and warmth of your own home. Watch as Mike Greer plays rockin' holiday music, Mayor Hollenbach recites “Twas the Night Before Christmas,” and Santa comes over the Market Street hill on his way to light the tree.

Hanukkah Celebration at Sesame Place

Visit Sesame Place on December 12th, 13th 0r 18th at 4:30PM for their Hanukkah Celebration at the Neighborhood Theater! Learn about the story of the Jewish Festival of Lights, listen to traditional music, and watch the Menorah Lighting Ceremony. The celebration will be led by a local cantor, Grover, and Baby Bear, who celebrates Hanukkah with his family.

This event is included with park admission. Seating is limited and the event is first come, first served.

Community Hanukkah Celebration at Shady Brook Farm

When: Monday, December 14 at 5:30 p.m.

Join in for a Hanukkah celebration with the lighting of the GIANT menorah! No charge, just fun. Masks are required.

The Lower Bucks Drive-Thru Holiday House Tour

By popular demand, The Lower Bucks Drive-Thru Holiday House Tour is a winter follow up to the Halloween House Tour held in October!
The Lower Bucks Drive-Thru Holiday House Tour is a free social-distancing event to celebrate all things related to the holiday season. Your neighbors have decorated their homes for you and your family's merriment. This event is meant to spark wonderment, community pride, and joy for all in the county!
The list of decorated homes along with suggested driving routes will be posted a few days prior to the event and from December 19th-January 2nd, you can take a tour at your leisure to see the sights at homes throughout Lower Bucks County without ever leaving your car! Homes will be best viewed between dusk and 9 p.m.

Fairless Hills Fire Department Santa Drive Through Parade

When: Saturday, December 19 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Where: 425 Hood Blvd., Fairless Hills
The Fairless Hills Fire Department will be hosting a drive-by Santa Parade in the parking lot of Westaby Hall (next to the Firehouse)! Due to current Covid 19 restrictions and safety concerns, they are altering from the traditional Saturday morning drive-by to a parade for everyone’s safety.
It will be a drive through event with Santa greeting and waving to the kids! Everyone will be requested to remain in their vehicles at all times. They will be handing out lollipops and collecting canned goods for the local food pantries as always.

Macy’s Santaland at Home Virtual Holiday Experience

With health, safety and the wellbeing of all at the heart of Macy’s initiatives, the holiday season led by Santa at Macy’s is going completely virtual this year! Starting November 27th and running through Christmas Eve, children of all ages and their families will be provided with FREE access to Macy’s Santaland at Home Virtual Experience!

In the online hub, children will be able to travel virtually through Macy’s Santaland at Herald Square in New York City! Meet and greets with the Elves, meeting Santa himself, via interactive video can all be enjoyed! Even better, all kids will be able to snap an “interactive selfie,” with Santa to complete the holiday experience, 2020-style! Get more information HERE.

Fairless Hills Garden Center

When: Select days and times, now through December 23.
Where: 620 Lincoln Highway, Fairless Hills

Santa Scott might just be the most famous Santa in Bucks County. The tattooed Santa is at Fairless Hills Garden Center this year, showing off his “Naughty” and “Nice” forearms (upon request).  This year, visitors will give their name and cell number upon arrival. After giving your name, you are free to go about the store or wait outside/in your car. You will receive a text message when it's your group's turn to come get in line/have your temperature taken and use hand sanitizer. (Lines are limited to about 3 families to discourage crowding.) Masks must be worn at all times, EXCEPT you are allowed to remove them for the photos. If you prefer, Santa will put his mask on for photos. Santa's area is cleaned often throughout the day. Fairless Hills Garden Center offers Special Needs Hours and pet photos. (In fact, this year, pets are welcome the last two hours of every day!) Gasper Home & Garden

When: Select dates now through December 23. Click here for details.
Where: 316 Tanyard Road, Richboro

Get a free family photo with Santa at Gasper! Bring your own camera, or the team at Gasper will take a photo and email it to you. This year, photos will take place in a COVID-safe environment inside Santa's workshop. A disinfected wall of plexiglass separates Santa and your family. The photo is taken so the plexiglass wall is not visible. You and your family can pose as you wish on a disinfected bench while Santa poses on his chair on the other side of the partition. Children will be able to speak with Santa, and Santa will provide a small gift for each child. While the website says that all of the reservation slots are full, according to the Gasper Facebook page, you can still come by during a time where Santa is there and wait on standby.

Photos are free, but they ask that you consider making a donation to the Bucks County SPCA.

Sesame Place’s A Very Furry Christmas

When: Santa is there November 23 through Christmas Eve
Where: 100 Sesame Road, Langhorne

This year, Santa will be in two locations – one inside and one outside, and reservations should be made online before your visit. Your reservation gets you private access to take photos and talk with Santa. (You can take your own photos for free, or purchase photos taken by the photographer.) Santa will be wearing his mask, and children must sit on a bench 6 feet away. Children CAN remove their masks for the photos if you'd like to do so.

Shady Brook Farm

When: November 27 through December 23; Sunday through Thursday from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. and Friday and Saturday from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m.
Where: 931 Stony Hill Road, Yardley

This year, Santa will be visiting for socially distant photos and to hear children's Wish Lists in an all-new heated SAnta House on the Festival Field! He'll be visiting with just one family at a time, with the next family “on deck.” As one person stays behind to receive your printed pictures, the rest of the family can enjoy fire pits, the giant playgrgound and spider web, animatronic Chicken Show, and a walk through Candy Cane Lane. Grinchmas Food Truck Fest & Holiday House at Bolton Mansion

When: Saturday, December 5 and Sunday, December 6 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Mommy's Lil' Black Book is partnering with Bolton Mansion to safely present a 2020-version of the traditional Bolton Mansion Christmas. Santa and The Grinch will be posing on the veranda of the mansion, and families can stand below them and take their own photos. You do not need to wear your mask for the photo, but they must be worn at all other times except when eating. There will also be socially distanced story times with Santa at noon and 2 p.m. In addition, you can shop vendors, grab lunch from a local food truck, take tours of Bolton Mansion and enjoy other holiday activities.

Brunch with Santa Claus at The Buck Hotel

When: Saturday, December 5 and December 12 from 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Breakfast with Santa at the Newtown Athletic Club

When: Saturday, December 12 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Where: 120 Pheasant Run, Newtown
Come enjoy a warm holiday breakfast with Santa Claus! This event will be held in the NAC Brown Gym. It's open to the community and costs $10 per child, $15 for adults. (It's free for Members.) Santa at Charlann Farms

When: Saturday, December 5 and Sunday, December 6 from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m.

Santa will arrive at the farm riding a John Deere tractor! Bring your camera to this free event.

Bring Your Letter to Santa Breakfast at The Bucks Pub

When: Saturday, December 12 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Where: The Bucks Club, 2600 York Road, Jamison

The Bucks Club is hosting a COVID friendly Breakfast with Santa on Saturday December 12. Instead of sitting on Santa's lap this year, they are asking all children to bring a letter telling Santa what they want for Christmas. They will have a Christmas Mailbox for children to drop their letters into.

If you are looking to bring your kids to see Santa, in a safe environment this is a great option!

Candy Cane Lane Holiday Trunk or Treat 

When: Saturday, December 19 from noon to 2 p.m.
Where: Action Karate Jamison, 2234 York Road, Jamison

Action Karate is hosting a public event with treats and more! Walk along the trail of holiday themed cars and collect treats along the way. At the end, take a socially distanced photo with Santa! They are also asking that you bring a new, unwrapped toy for child between the ages of birth and 12 years old. All gifts will be donated to Toys for Tots.

Whether you have never had a real tree or it’s a holiday staple every year, here’s where you can find the best and bushiest Christmas trees this holiday season in Bucks County.

Bryan’s Farm

2032 2nd Street Pike, Richboro, PA

Choose and cut live Christmas trees every Saturday and Sunday from Saturday, November 28 through Sunday, December 20 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Trees are $60, or $50 if under 5 feet. Enjoy free wagon rides and tree wrapping! This year, they will have mostly White and Blue Spruce, Douglas Fir and a few White Pine. If you'd like you can come tag your tree starting November 28 to pick up on a later date.

Charlann Farms

586 Stonyhill Road, Yardley, PA

Reopening just after Thanksgiving, Charlann Farms offers Pennsylvania Christmas trees, wreaths, poinsettias, tree stands, decorations and more! Open weekdays from 10 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. and weekends from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Santa arrives on tractor on Saturday, December 5 and Sunday, December 6 from noon to 3 p.m. There will also be a winter holiday market on December 6 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Plus, you can bring your letters for Santa to mail to the North Pole!

Colavita Christmas Tree Farm

Starting November 27, stop by Colavita Tree Farm and grab the perfect Christmas tree, roping greens, wreaths, and more! Open daily from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. (Choose and cut fields close at 4:30 p.m.)

Feeney's, a family-owned business, has been a Bucks County favorite for over 64 years! They sell only Pennsylvania-grown Douglas Fir and Frasier Fir. These locally grown trees are cut later and in transit for a very short time. They also sell fresh-cut greens, roping, wreaths, garland and more.

While free photos with Santa have always been a beloved family tradition, they have made the difficult decision to skip Santa visits in 2020. The beautifully decorated shop full of unique gifts and decor is still a magical experience this time of year.

Harley Hill Farm Alpacas

451 Kellers Road, Quakertown

Bring the family to this 1880s beautiful Bucks County farm! Open every Friday, Saturday and Sunday until Christmas, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Visit with 30 alpacas, including 4 new babies. Browse through the local PRE-CUT Christmas trees and listen to holiday music. Then go into the winter wonderland barn and warm your hands by the fireplace. Be sure to wear your mask – yes even outside. The barn door and windows will be open for good ventilation, so be sure to dress warm.

King’s Indian Head Farm

King’s opens up for the Christmas tree season on Friday, November 27 with 100s of fresh trees available. Check their website out for a $5 off coupon! They also offer discounts to military and firefighter personnel. Open daily through December 22, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

McArdle’s Holiday Tree Farm

4316 Mechanicsville Road, Mechanicsville

Cut your own tree or choose any pre-cut tree this season! Plus, receive a free mug (while supplies last) with every tree purchase. They have over 300 trees on their lot, and you can stop by Black Friday through Christmas Eve to get yours. Open Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Receive a free Christmas mug with the purchase of any tree, while supplies last!

If you've visited in the past, you should be aware that they will NOT be offering many of their traditional attractions this year: train rides, petting zoo, hot cider/food, gift shop, photo sessions, and evening hours. They hope to bring back these features next year!

Tuckamony Farm

Since 1929, Tuckamony Farms has specialized in choose-and-cut trees for the holiday season. They are one of the oldest family-run Christmas tree farms in the country, with hand-made wreaths and fresh holly offered during the holidays. Choose and cut trees for just $59 under 10 feet, $79 over 10 feet! Pre-cut trees are priced by height. Hours are Thursday-Friday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Closed Monday through Wednesday. They open for the season on Black Friday.

Winterberry Christmas Tree Farm

95 Stage Coach Road Tinicum Township, Pipersville

Season begins on Friday, November 27. Hours include all Thursday through Sunday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. through December 20. You can also visit Monday – Wednesday, you just have to make an appointment! Field trees include Douglas Fir, Fraser Fir and Concolor Fir. You choose – they cut. All trees are $56, up to 10 feet.
