Start the weekend early by celebrating International IPA Day at Isaac Newton's on Thursday, August 4th! August 4th, 2011 has been designated as the inaugural “International IPA Day”! IPA Day is attributed to Ashley V. Routson (aka ‘The Beer Wench') and Ryan A. Ross and is “…a grassroots movement to unite the voices of craft beer enthusiasts, bloggers, and brewers worldwide through social media” while celebrating the rise in prominence of this genre of beer and its many interpretations! As Isaac's has always strived to provide some of the greatest IPAs available, we will embrace IPA Day in full force! Throughout the day, we'll be offering up to 10 different India Pale Ales (or Double IPAs or IPA hybrids, etc.) with the following tentative schedule:
The beginning of the end…it's the last First Friday Doylestown before kids head back to school in September! All night, stroll through the streets of Doylestown to enjoy an evening of art and music. Follow the yellow flags to join the festivities.
It's time for the annual sidewalk sale in Peddler's Village, happenings all weekend long! Add some excitement to the lazy days of summer at the Peddler’s Village Annual Sidewalk Sale and Third Annual Community Days on Saturday, August 6 and Sunday, August 7, 10 a.m.-6 p.m. The sidewalks of Peddler’s Village will be lined with bargains that will dazzle even the savviest shopper! The event is held rain or shine. Admission and parking are free. Plus, United Methodist Church (Street Rd. & Route 263) in Lahaska is hosting a Vendor & Craft Fair to coincide with the Sidewalk Sale.

Love to play tennis? Enter a tournament for a great cause! This weekend is the Mill Creek Tennis Club in Feasterville hosts Rally For The Cure Tennis Tournament.
Saturday night, Bucks County good enthusiasts will gather at the Farm to Table Fundraiser at Lyndsay Farm. Heritage Conservancy has re-enlisted the help of acclaimed chefs from two Bucks County eateries. Luke Smithson of Jamie Hollander Gourmet Foods and Catering and Earl's Bucks County chefs Chris Tavares and David Zuckerman have generously donated their talents and will prepare a gourmet meal with foods grown in and around Bucks County. Hors d'oeuvres, followed by a buffet-style meal, will be served in a rustic outdoor setting at the Lindsay Farm. There will also be silent and live auctions. Tickets are $65 per person and all proceeds benefit Heritage Conservancy.
