The Wizard of Odds
Philips Mill Community Association, 2619 River Road, New Hope
8:00PM (Doors open at 7:00 PM)

The Phillips' Mill Players present, with brains, heart, courage and hope, their 2015 comedic musical, the Wizard of Odds. The Wizard of Odds is the most recent production of creator and director Valerie Eastburn who invites you to experience the show, which is set beyond the moon, behind the rainbow, and far far away in Coconut Grove… Come and meet the zany, offbeat characters who inhabit Coconut Grove, as they cavort on stage in outlandish costumes and charm you with their vocal prowess and comedic timing in a show that has no premise whatsoever. Be prepared to laugh, sing and dance along with the cast – you won't be able to resist once the piano and four-piece band get rolling. The show is cabaret style, so we invite you to bring your own food and drinks and make it a night! Tickets are $25 for members and $30 for non-members.

In the Mood
Bucks County Playhouse, 70 South Main Street, New Hope
2:00pm

Hop aboard the “Chattanooga Choo Choo” to “Tuxedo Junction” and get “In the Mood” to hear a “Moonlight Serenade” performed by a 13-piece Big Band and six singer-dancers with some hot boogie woogie! In The Mood is a fully staged tribute to Glenn Miller, Tommy Dorsey, The Andrews Sisters and big band greats of the ’40s. Complete with period costumes and choreography, In The Mood celebrates America’s greatest generation who listened and boogied to up-tempo big band rhythms and danced to intimate ballads. Experience the jazzy, brassy, sentimental and patriotic music of the World War II era.
