Bucks Happening’s Weekend Picks: January 1 – January 3

How are you planning to spend the first weekend in 2021? Here are a few suggestions!

1st Annual Fun Mud Run at The Milk House Market

When: Friday, January 1 at noon
Where: 66 Sellersville Road, Chalfont

The Milk House Market will be setting up a 1-mile trail run course on the farm property for a fun run. Be prepared to run through mud, jump over hay bales, and more! This is a free event. The only fee is a food donation for the Local Food Bank or winter clothing donation for St. Vincent de Paul. Start the New Year by having fun and doing a good deed!

There will be gift card prizes awarded to: Most Creative Costume, Muddiest Contestant and Cleanest Contestant.

Milk House Market will be providing coffee, hot chocolate and cinnamon buns. Please keep a mash on and stay 6 feet apart. Stop by the Market (or call) to sign up!

January Take & Make at Southampton Free Library

When: Starting Saturday, January 2 from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Where: 947 Street Road, Southampton

Help feed your feathered friends with a DIY Bird Feeder. Pick up a kit with the essentials. You just need to supply either peanut butter or shortening. Keep your feathered friends happy this winter! Ask at the service desk. Supplies are limited to 100 kits in honor of their 100th anniversary.

A Very Furry Christmas Sesame Place

When: Now through January 3
Where: Sesame Place, 100 Sesame Road, Langhorne

It's the final weekend for holiday fun at Sesame Place!

The Blinkinghouse

When: Nightly through January 6 from 5 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.
Where: 9 Franklin Street, Levittown

The BlinkingHouse is a home Christmas display with 40,000 lights, 120 blow molds, 70 colored spheres in 9 trees, 5 fully lit evergreens (from 6 ft to 30 ft tall) topped with rotating stars, all programmed to dance to Christmas songs played on 92.9 on your FM radio dial. Kermit, Animal, and the rest of the Muppet Band sing 5 of their Christmas favorites plus 6 other Disney songs. See Santa fly to the roof top, 3 clusters of Disney characters light up as they sing to 6 Disney Christmas songs.
