5th Annual Jazz on the River

When: Friday, June 28 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Where: King George Inn, 102 Radcliffe Street, Bristol

The King George Inn presents the 5th Annual Jazz on the River with the Jerry Topinka Jazz Ensemble. Mingle with guests and enjoy food and drinks at the King George Inn’s outdoor riverfront patio, while listening to live jazz music performed at Lions Park. Tickets are $50 and are available at Mignoni’s Jewelry, Great IDs by Anne, Bristol Borough Tax Office and the King George Inn. Each ticket-holder will receive a wristband at the event entrance. Tickets are good for access to butlered and staged hor d’oeuvres and salad plus three drinks (beer, wine and soda). 100% of ticket sales benefit Bristol Borough Learning Centers.

Movie Night in the Park: Aquaman

When: Friday, June 28 from at 7 p.m. (movie starts at sunset)
Where: Hanusey Park, 4757 Gordon Road, Doylestown

Bring a blanket or lawn chair and enjoy a movie under the stars! Snacks will be available for purchase before the movie. (Cash only, small bills, please.) Admission is free!

Summer Wine and Music Series at Crossing Vineyards

When: Friday, June 28 at from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Where: 1853 Wrightstown Road, Washington Crossing

The Mango Men will be performing rock to pop to country … with a Jimmy Buffet flair. Plus, opening act Empty Belly Blues from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m.! Enjoy wine, beer or Crossing “Crushies” along with light bites. (All available for purchase.) Tickets are $15 in advance, $20 at the event. BYO food is allowed, but no outside drinks.

“Feline Freedon & In-Dog-pendence Day” Adoption Event

When: Saturday, June 29 from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Where: Women's Animal Center, 3839 Richlieu Road, Bensalem

Let Freedom Ring for Every Shelter Pet! The Women's Animal Center is hosting a special adoption event in an effort to keep up with the increased intake of cats and dogs that traditionally occurs during the summer. There will be deep discounts on adoption fees, including $10 cats and $20 kittens, $50 dogs and 50% off small animals. All adoptions include spay/neuter, vaccinations, microchip and free services in the organization's veterinary hospital. There will be refreshments and art activities for kids.

GLOW Party at the NAC’s Escape Resort

When: Saturday, June 29 from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m.
Where: 120 Pheasant Run Road, Newtown

The NAC’s Escape Resort is hosting an after-dark party with a DJ, dancing, drinks and more. Glow sticks will be provided. This event is open to the community with a $5 cover charge for non-members. Drink specials all night long! (This event is 21+.)

Riverside Symphonia Concert Under the Stars

When: Saturday, June 29 at 8 p.m.
Where: Tinicum Park, River Road, Erwinna

Kick off the 4th of July week with an evening of light classical, popular, and patriotic music followed by a grand fireworks finale under the stars along the banks of the Delaware River. Plan a picnic and enjoy this regional tradition. Click here for ticket information.

NBA Welcome Day

When: Sunday, June 30 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Where: Sycamore Street, Newtown

NBA Welcome Day is finally here! The (rescheduled) annual event features artists, crafters, vendors and fun activities for the entire family. Music, dancers, a musician, and more! There's something for everyone!
