It's the most wonderful time of year! We might have another week until Thanksgiving, but plenty of places are already kicking off their Christmas festivities. Customer Appreciation Weekend at Feeney’s
When: Friday, November 16 from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., Saturday, November 17 from 12 p.m. to 8 p.m. and Sunday, November 18 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. (Store hours are longer)
Where: Feeney’s, 1134 Bustleton Pike, Feasterville, PA
Feeney’s has a weekend of family fun planned for their Customer Appreciation event. Friday night is “Family Night” with face painting, storytelling, Santa visit and free ice cream. On Saturday, there will be vendor reps and raffle drawings, plus free ice cream from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. and Santa visits from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. And Sunday will have more vendor reps and drawings, a children’s craft from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m., free ice cream from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. and Santa visits from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. (Tip: Santa photos are do-it-yourself!)
Peddler’s Village Grand Illumination with Santa
When: Friday, November 16 from 4:30 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Where: Peddler’s Village, Route 202 and 263, Lahaska
Santa and his helpers will start the “Season of Lights” when they flip the switch to illuminate the entire Village at 6:15 p.m. Enjoy complimentary hot apple cider and marshmallow roasting. And check out the winners of the Gingerbread House Competition and Display. Stores will be open until 10 p.m. all weekend with refreshments in each shop for their Merchants’ Open House Weekend.
Eric & Christopher 4th Annual Holiday Open House
When: Saturday, November 17 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Sunday, November 18 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Where: Eric & Christopher, 410 East Walnut Street, Perkasie
Eric & Christopher is a wholesale business offering screen printed and sewn items, made right in Perkasie. They’re only open one or two times each year, so you won’t want to miss the Holiday Open House. Shop adorable pillows, tote bags, aprons, tea towels, ornaments and more. Harley’s Haven Dog Rescue will also be at the event with adoptable dogs.
2018 Bristol Township Holiday Parade
When: Saturday, November 17 from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m.
Where: Bristol Township Parks and Recreation, 2501 Bath Road, Bristol
Bristol gets an early start celebrating the season! The parade will begin at Brookwood Elementary on Haines Road and will end at the showmobile stage at Ben Franklin on Millcreek Road.
Santa's Grand Illumination at Sesame Place
When: Saturday, November 17 at 5 p.m.
Where: Sesame Place, 100 Sesame Road, Langhorne
Santa will illuminate the night for the first time this year to kick-off Sesame Place's “A Very Furry Christmas” season. Sesame Street characters and elves will sing and dance in the street before Santa arrives on a horse-drawn carriage. Click here for ticket information.
Holiday Light Show at Shady Brook Farm Opens
When: Saturday, November 17 from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m. and Sunday, November 18 from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. (plus nightly through January 6)
Where: Shady Brook Farm, 931 Stony Hill Road, Yardley
A tradition for many in the area, Shady Brook Farm’s 24th Annual Holiday Light Show will open to the public on Saturday night. Enjoy more than 3 million lights illuminating acres of farmland. Drive through in the comfort of your own car, or enjoy the show on an open-air wagon ride (weather permitting.) The 2-mile trail takes about 20 minutes. Visit the website for pricing information.
Santa & Mrs. Claus Arrive at Bucks Country Gardens Ltd.
When: Saturday, November 17 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and Sunday, November 18 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. (plus every weekend until December 16)
Where: Bucks Country Gardens Ltd., 1057 N. Easton Road, Doylestown
Santa and Mrs. Claus will be arriving at the garden center for the season! Grab your wish list and your camera. Your children can visit with Santa for free!
