It's officially the Holiday Season! There are so many ways to celebrate the holidays in Bucks County, so we're highlighting just a few of our favorite events each weekend. Bolton Mansion Tree Lighting & Caroling
When: November 30 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. (Tree Lighting), December 1 from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m., December 2 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
Where: 85 Holly Drive, Levittown
For just $5 a person, you can stop by the mansion for baked goods, 9-foot trees, caroling, and a visit from Santa himself! The mansion will host a variety of holiday activities the remainder of the weekend.
Annual Newtown Tree Lighting
When: Friday, November 30 from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Where: Newtown Fire House, 14 Liberty Street, Newtown
Join Santa, his friends, and the rest of the Newtown community for the annual Christmas tree lighting.
Perkasie's 109th Christmas Tree Lighting
When: Saturday, December 1 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Where: 7th and Market Streets, Perkasie
Bring the family to the oldest community tree lighting ceremony in the United States! There will be pictures with Elsa and Olaf, horse and carriage rides, music, food, and of course, Santa. Have the kids bring a non-perishable food item to donate to Pennridge FISH, and they'll be entered into a drawing to flip the switch the light the tree!
Yardley’s Olde Fashioned Christmas Parade & Tree Lighting
When: Saturday, December 1 from 3:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
Where: S. Main Street, Yardley
The Yardley Olde Fashioned Christmas Parade is a family-friendly event that brings the entire community together. Get a great spot anywhere along South Main Street for an amazing view, great music, celebrity guests, Mummers, marching bands, carol singers, and more. Stay for the tree lighting in Buttonwood Park, and then visit with Santa and Mrs. Claus in Santa's Workshop for a great photo opportunity!
Newtown Holiday Open House Tour
When: Saturday, December 1 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. (Snow date December 2)
The 56th Annual Open House Tour gives visitors an inside look at the historic farmhouse that was once George Washington’s headquarters after his victory at the Battle of Trenton. Formerly called “Christmas in Colonial Newtown,” this open house has been a treasured tradition for Bucks County residents. Tickets are available online and children under 12 get in free! Holiday Petting Zoo at Froehlich’s Farm
When: Saturday, December 1 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Where: Froehlich’s Farm & Garden Center, 3143 York Road, Furlong
What-Knott Farm’s Traveling Petting Zoo will be spending the day at Froehlich’s Farm. Visit with a huge variety of animals, including miniature goats, baby doll sheep, tortoise, bunnies, ducks, llama and other barnyard friends. Warm up by the bonfire with hot cocoa and cider. And stop by the holiday gift shop and take a look at the fresh cut Christmas trees, wreaths, and greens.
“A Rat Pack Christmas” at Sellersville Theater
When: Sunday, December 2 at 1 p.m. (Doors at 12:30 p.m.)
Where: 24 W. Temple Avenue, Sellersville
Reflections Of The Rat Pack returns to Sellersville for a special holiday performance! This tribute is a magical recreation of the music, antics and camaraderie of three of the most legendary entertainers of all time: Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin and Sammy Davis Jr. The strength of their performances have earned them acclaim in Las Vegas and around the world. The chemistry between these three entertainers will take you on a journey back to the swinging years making you feel like you are watching the Legends themselves. Tickets range from $29.50 to $45. Menorah Lighting
When: Sunday, December 2 at 4:30 p.m.
Where: 1501 N. Main Street, Warrington
Head to the shops at Valley Square for a Menorah lighting, music, latkes, hot drinks, and a chocolate gelt drop.
