Smithsonian Magazines Free Museum Day

When: Saturday, September 21
Where: Museums throughout the county

Smithsonian magazine hosts Museum Day annually to celebrate and encourage boundless curiosity. The Museum Day ticket provides free admission for two people. You can download one ticket per email address. There are over 50 participating museums in Pennsylvania with several in Bucks County (and even more in Philly) including the Bucks County Civil War Library and Museum, Fonthill Castle, Mercer Museum, James A. Yardley’s Harvest Day

When: Saturday, September 21 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Where: Downtown Yardley Borough

Yardley Harvest Day will emphasize the many unique aspects of living, dining, socializing, shopping, working and enjoying one of Bucks County’s most historic and best communities. Downtown Yardley is an idyllic setting for this community gathering, which showcases the Delaware Canal and the Delaware River. Yardley Harvest Day features unique artists and crafters, music and great food, historic and educational tours, and local civic groups and businesses.

Newtown Vet Pet Fair

When: Saturday, September 21 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Where: 107 Penns Trail, Newtown

Family fun for the whole family – even the furry members! There will be adoption groups, vendors and lots of activities. Let Fido cool off in the Doggy wAter Park, take a crazy family photo and the photo booth or join Dr. Palm for some cat-friendly fun. Join in the Pet Parade at noon with prizes for best costume, owner-pet look-alike and more. There will be a DJ, raffles and more.

Peace Fair

When: Saturday, September 21 from 10:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Where: Buckingham Friends Meetinghouse, 5684 York Road, Routes 202 and 263, Lahaska

The Peace Fair provides a comfortable family-friendly atmosphere in which adults and children can learn about how others promote peaceful relations in their organizations and their own lives. Family Fun Day at Snipes

When: Saturday, September 21 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Where: 390 W. Bridge Street, Morrisville

Snipes Farm & Education Center presents its fifth annual Fall Family Fun Day on the Farm on Saturday, September 21 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.  Enjoy hayrides around the farm, pick your own apples and pumpkins, giant corn maze, moonbounces, a DJ, face painting, playground fun, balloon art, character visits, farm animals, inflatable games, vendors, food trucks and more! Admission is $6 per person (children 2 and under are free).   Pick your own pumpkins and apples can be purchased by the lb.

Newtown Beerfest

When: Saturday, September 21, 12:30 to 5:30 p.m.
Where: The Stocking Works, 410 South State St. Newtown

Beer tasting, live music, food and fun! The event will be held rain or shine. Tickets are required for all attendees. If it rains, tents will be provided. No one under 21 will be admitted.

Italian Wine Stroll at Peddler's Village

When: Saturday, September 21
Where: Peddler’s Village, routes 202 and 263, Lahaska

Peddler’s Village will set the scene for this limited space event, with timed tickets. Guests will join Michael Conti of Vintage Imports through 16 hand-picked selections from different regions of Italy. Purchase tickets here.

7th Annual Healthy Living Festival
