Some more fall fun, the beginning of Christmas celebrating, Veterans Day events and more! Here are just a few of things to do in Bucks County this weekend. Fall Fest at Hellerick’s Family Farm

When: Open daily now through Sunday, November 8
Where: 5500 N. Easton Road, Doylestown

Final days! Bring your family and friends to enjoy a great day of fun on the farm.  General Admission includes entry to the 18 acre Adventure Farm area which includes Hayrides, 2 Corn mazes, Farm animals, 3 slides, Tractor Tire playground and 40+ activities for children and adults of all ages. Reservations are required, and admission is limited to 3 hours. Children 2 and under are free.

AppleTime in the Village

When: November 1 through November 15 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Where: Peddler’s Village, 2400 Street Road, Lahaska

Instead o f their annual Apple Festival Weekend, Peddler’s Village will be offering 2 weeks of “AppleTime” fun. There will be apple-themed food and beverage every day in the restaurants and an outdoor food tent and live entertainment on the weekends.

Veterans Day 5K Hosted by Cairn University

When: Saturday, November 7 at 9:30 a.m.
Where: Core Creek Park, 901 Bridgetown Pike, Langhorne

This is one of the few “in real life” runs this season! Cairn University Athletics is hosting the Veterans Day 5K. This trail style race will be held at Core Creek Park in Langhorne, PA. This fun and affordable event is open to runners and walkers of all ages and skill levels.

To maintain proper social distancing and safety for everyone, registration for the on-site Veterans Day 5K on November 7th is limited to 200 participants. A virtual option is also available. All registrants will receive a t-shirt.

14th Annual Ancestry Fair on Zoom

When: Saturday, November 7 from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The Bookends of Liberty: 300 Years of the Growth of Freedom in North America November 7, 2020 on Zoom. The 2020 Ancestry Fair of the Bucks County Genealogical Society will commemorate the 400th anniversary of the Mayflower Compact and the 100th anniversary of the 19th Amendment to the Constitution of the United States with The Bookends of Liberty: 300 Years of the Growth of Freedom in North America. Our program will cover the unique opportunities and challenges the records of these events present for genealogists as well as the social history of these two important milestones.

Gasper Home & Garden Christmas Open House

When: Saturday and Sunday, November 7 and 8 from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Where: 316 Tanyard Road, Richboro

Halloween is over … so bring on the Christmas! Gasper has been transformed for the holiday with themed trees, an artificial tree forest, new decorations, holiday decor and more! There will be fresh funnel cakes, hot dogs and lemonade to purchase from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Olaf will be visiting on Saturday from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. And there will be special discounts all weekend long.

We Salute You – A Tribute to Veterans at Crossing Vineyards & Winery

When: Sunday, November 8 from noon to 6 p.m.
Where: 1853 Wrightstown Road, Washington Crossing

Crossing Vineyards is showing their appreciation with special deals on drinks and more, plus a complimentary photo session (noon to 2 p.m.) for veterans and their families. Military ID required for photos.
