Free Concert in the Park

Hansell Park

When: Sunday, June 27, 3 pm – 7 pm
Where: 5069 Hansell Road, Doylestown

Rock out in the park with the Doylestown and Princeton House Bands. Bring a blanket and picnic dinner to enjoy live music in the park. The event admission is free.

Bring Your Own Kayak

Peace Valley Nature Center – Happenings List Winner!

When: June 25, 8:30 pm – 9:30 pm
Where: 120 North State Street, Newtown

Bring your own kayak and meet at the boat ramp for a peaceful evening paddle. You must have an approved flotation device with you, a county issued boat license, a whistle and a light to join the group. Rain date is scheduled for June 26. Register for this event here.

Friday Night Live

The Escape Resort

When: Friday, June 25th, 6 pm – 10 pm
Where: 120 Pheasant Run, Newtown

Friday Night Live at the Escape Resort is hosting the KickBaxx Band. Celebrate poolside while watching the live performance this Friday night. The event is open to the community. There will be dinner and drink specials and live music from 6-10 pm. Childcare is available 24 hours in advance.

Friday Family Fun Nights

Philadelphia Sports Clubs

When: June 25, 5 pm – 8 pm
Where: 1 Highpoint Drive, Chalfont

Friday Family Fun Nights are back at Philadelphia Sports Clubs from 5 – 8 pm. There will be music, food trucks, aqua trax and more. The event is free for pool members, $5 if you come with a pool member and $10 if you come without a pool member. RSVP here.

Porchfest

Newtown Library Company

When: Sunday, June 25, 7 pm
Where: 114 Centre Ave, Newtown

The Newtown Library is thrilled to be hosting PorchFest! It is a Newtown Borough tradition – a gathering of friends and family in our wonderful community. Each Friday in the summer, a different neighbor hosts from their porch. Bring your own beverages, snacks to share, and a chair if you wish. Pets are welcome!

Meet & Eat at Core Creek Park

Movie Night

Newtown Theatre – Happenings List Winner!

When: June 25, 8 pm – 10 pm
Where: 120 North State Street, Newtown

Head to the movies this Friday night to see The Last Waltz, a story about the Canadian rockers of The Band. The documentary features standout performances by rock legends such as Bob Dylan, Van Morrison, Eric Clapton, Joni Mitchell and Muddy Waters. Tickets are $12 for adults, $10 for seniors and $6 for members. Tickets can be purchased at the door before the film.
