As the air turns frosty and the days get shorter, our thoughts turn to the approaching holiday season and all the excitement it contains. For many, the holiday party is a highly anticipated event — a chance to celebrate the season and another year with colleagues, family or friends.

Jericho National Golf Club is the perfect location for any kind of holiday celebration. Tucked into the rolling hills of New Hope, Pennsylvania, the club is private, but open for events. Jericho boasts four separate event spaces that can accommodate anywhere from 20-250 people, making it an excellent option for events ranging from intimate luncheons to cocktails and dancing. The club’s Grand Ballroom, the largest event space, is equipped with a raised stage and a built-in dance floor. And even though it is sure to be frosty and cold outside, guests can still enjoy panoramic views of the club’s beautiful golf course through the large windows in each event space.

When you book a party at Jericho, you can expect a focused and dedicated event staff. Although they can accommodate up to four events at once, “we book no more than two events simultaneously,” explains Carmella Bryant, Banquet Sales Coordinator for the club. This means the staff can be extremely responsive and any issue can be addressed immediately.

This sets us apart from most other country clubs.”

The club’s Executive Chef Verdine Hurt and staff offer seasonal, set menus for ease of planning, but are also very accommodating when it comes to customizing menus at a guest’s request. “Each party is different, and may have a different vision than what we have to offer,” says Bryant. All food is received fresh daily and prepared and cooked on-site.

And what better way to combat the season’s darker skies and colder temperatures than with a warm, festive and beautifully decorated event space? “We are extremely festive when it comes to décor during the holiday season.” says Bryant. “We decorate a beautiful tree in the ballroom, wrap the staircase with garland and bows, place poinsettias throughout the club and hang wreaths on the door; it’s all very beautiful!” The club works to assist guests with adding those extra touches that make events memorable; for example, Bryant says in the past groups have brought in a Santa Claus for some extra holiday spirit.jericho

Holiday bookings are already in full swing at Jericho, so Bryant urges people to start planning now. The club still has open dates but she expects them to fill up very quickly. And if you do plan your holiday party at Jericho Country Club, Bryant promises that you won’t be disappointed. “We take pride in each event, be it large or small, and are very attentive to detail. Each event space is beautifully decorated and really puts you in the holiday spirit!”
