The Upper Bucks Chamber will host a special event on Tues., Nov. 20 focused on the Economic Outlook for 2019. The event will provide valuable information on trends not only in the Bucks community but also provide insight to the greater economic picture for the nation. Keynote speaker for the event is Ryotaro Tashiro, who is a regional economic adviser in the Research Department of the Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia.

Tashiro will discuss the economic outlook for key industries in the region and the impact on small businesses. Additionally, he will touch on the GDP, inflation, and labor market conditions based on his research of current market conditions.

The program runs from 12 noon – 1:30 pm. Cost to attend is $35. Registration may be completed on the UBCC website or by clicking here. The Chamber will also hold their annual meeting for the election of officers during this event.

Join the Central Bucks Chamber to learn about the economic forecast for the region during their breakfast meeting on Wed., Nov. 28 from 8 to 9:30 am.  Guest speaker Robin Weissman, PA Secretary of Banking & Securities, will share insights on the area's growth and what to expect in the coming year.

Join the Indian Valley Chamber for their “State of the Indian Valley” event on Wed., Nov. 28. Networking begins at 11:30 am followed by a luncheon at noon. Featured speakers will include several municipal managers from the surrounding Indian Valley communities. They will provide updates on current and future planned projects, the economies of local communities as well as an outlook for the future.
